    Please help me. I am writing in hopes to get help with an insurance claim I started on July 16. 2022. I was struck on the side of my car by an uninsured motorist who crashed into my car while directly driving at a high speed across a 5 lane street. The driver that struck me was cited at the scene of the accident. My car and the driver that hit my car were left with inoperable vehicles. My car was in the pound for a week without any activity and no follow-up from placing the claim. I was assigned an adjuster who advised me that I could have my car repaired at the shop of my choice, but I would only have 30 days in the rental provided under my policy if I did not use their preferred provider. It is September 22, 2022, and I have not gotten any resolution. My car has not been repaired because ********** has not approved the repair shop's estimated cost to repair my car. ********** has refused to total out the car and has refused the repair shop's estimate. Because ********** refuses to pay the cost to repair my car, despite the shop's recommendation to total the car I have had to buy another car while my 2020 Lexus NX 300 F-Sport is in limbo. I have spoken with ********** Customer care who has not followed up with me to help with this matter. This is unfair treatment, it has been almost 3 months that my car repair has been on hold/ unapproved repair cost/ refusal to total the car if the repair cost is too high. I would really appreciate help, I believe the adjuster is being enabled by ********** to stall in the repair or resolve my claim. This is costing me so much money. I have been paying my $630.00 car note and forced to buy another car so I can get to my job at the ******** ************** ******* ****** ** ***** **** where I work as a certified Physician Assistant.
