    [BBB transcription via mail, see attachment] The day after installation *** informed them he wasn't satisfied with the work. There is not a watertight connection and it's on an outside wall. Nothing was changed. Upon installation *** was told the first maintenance fee, a $150.00 value from their company, would be free. Others charge $199.00 regularly. After multiple calls *** was informed they refuse to service the generator at all!

    In response to *** *******. We did put in a generator for ***. He stood outside the entire time and watched us do everything and seemed satisfied when we left. Also we got a county electrical inspection so if something would have been wrong with the way we did something our county inspector would have made us change it. *** did call then a day later and say he wanted his transfer switch moved inside. ***** then went to ***s house and told him he would move it inside if he paid for another county electrical permit. *** then decided he didn't want to do that and he could live with it. Then he called back numerous times and decided he did want it changed. At this time our company decided no matter what we did we weren't going to appease ***. So we decided to no longer service *** in any way. We have 4 or 5 ******* dealers in our area if you aren't satisfied with us its very easy to go to someone else. Its also not our company policy to give someone the first year service for free so that is also some false information. We installed over 200 generators last year and no one else is making this claim. We felt we bent over backwards for *** and he kept changing his mind so it was better to just go our separate ways instead of dragging this on any longer.
