      Use to enjoy getting my art and sewing supplies at JoAnn's over the years but starting about 7-10 yrs ago it has gotten much worse. First, they have never been known for customer service and the company never bothered to turn that around. They also lock up a lot of items and it's near impossible to find an associate to unlock them. Then when they do they ****** it to the register like you're a thief. (That's a great way to loose business.) Inflation has gotten horrible and society has spoken they'd rather have cheap items that break after a few uses than higher quality items you only have to buy a few times. I've repeatedly had issues with the cutting counter from customer service, to having to closely watch them cut fabric for accuracy to long wait lines only for me to abandon my project and go else where. Staffing hours have been so reduced that the working employees are stressed, most do the job duties of 2-6 people, lines and stocking are not as efficient as they use to be. A lot of times when I go into stores they look half stocked and items messy and every where. For a while now I suspected they were entering bankruptcy and you can tell by early signs of not fully filled shelves, reduced staffing hours and company skimping on other things as well.Personally I've started supporting competitors due to JoAnn's being run into the ground the past few years. They only thrived during covid because people were crafting not working. They blew all the income from that on useless things. Then the company tanked again through bad management and bad big wig decisions. A lot of times I go in only to find the stores lacking stocked shelves resulting in me not finding what I need so I go to amazon for it. Once I couldn't find an assoc. to unlock an items so I just bought it on amazon there and then then left. Got it in 2 days and for a third cheaper. JoAnn's use to be a great store to support but I've been finding other places to support.

I'll be disputing it and wanted others to know so that it doesn't happen to them!!!!

      I believe it's a scam it's been some time now and I have not received any of my products so I tried to call them and the phone line was saying something about offering me a medical alert device. I am so dissatisfied. NEVER AGAIN.......

      Review for Joann Fabrics Online Order Experience I am deeply disappointed with my recent online shopping experience at Joann Fabrics. I placed an order on December 22, expecting to receive all items in a timely manner. However, only part of my shipment arrived, and I have been left without the remainder of my purchase.On January 6, I received an email indicating the missing items were in transit. However, no updates have followed, and the shipment has yet to arrive. I have attempted to contact Joann Fabrics multiple times for clarification and resolution, but my inquiries have gone unanswered. **** has also failed to provide any helpful updates or ************* a loyal customer, I am disappointed by the lack of communication and accountability on both ends. Delayed shipments are understandable during busy periods, but the complete absence of customer support or effort to resolve the issue is unacceptable.I strongly urge Joann Fabrics to improve their customer service practices and ensure that customers are kept informed throughout the order process. Based on this experience, I am hesitant to shop online with Joanns in the future unless significant improvements are made.Rating: 1/5

      I placed two separate orders in December through the online site. The first one, I received a notification the next day saying only part of it shipped & there was a delay on the other half. While still waiting, I saw some Christmas ******* was on sale. I had bought some in store & liked it, so I placed a second order, adding in a few other sale items to help bring down the shipping. 4 days later, I got an email stating only part of the 2nd order shipped & there was a delay on the *******. I still had no word on my 1st order's status. I emailed customer service asking what was going on, but received no response. Instead, the next day I get an automated email saying the remainder of my first order was cancelled due to "unavailability". Upset that it took so long to notify me, I emailed customer service again, & told them the yarn was still showing as available to purchase on the site. No response. Called twice, was put on hold so long I finally had to hang up. A day later, another automated email saying the ******* was cancelled due to "unavailability". I waited a couple of days & checked the site again. The items were still on there to purchase. So, I ordered them again. A week later, it was still processing and the half of my 2nd order that did ship finally arrived, & one item was broken. I sent another email that was finally responded to by a *** named "********" who just told me they would issue a refund for it. No option of ***lacement, just a refund. They sent me $0.90. I had to email again to get the full amount & asked about my order that was still processing. No response until the next day, in which I got another auto email saying the order was cancelled due to "unavailability" (The items are still on the site for purchase.) followed by a half-assed "apology" from ******** saying I could re-order if I wanted & they would price match. Re-order what? 3x cancelled for "unavailability" and they are still listing the items for sale on the website. Officially Done.

      I have now had 3 bad experiences with this company in the past month. What I want to know, is how are they still in business???? My first issue was an online order I placed with the store. I drove to the store and picked up my order for 4 skeins of yarn. When I got home I had 3 full skeins and a remnant of another. You can't have a remnant of yarn, it's not sold by the yard. I called the store and was advised to bring it back up which I did the next day. That's when they gave me the customer service # to call because it wasn't returnable there! Really! So much for their no-hassle return policy. I got ahold of customer service the next day and he refunded my money and I purchased another skein somewhere else. I also advised that they needed to speak to the manager at that store because she appears to be making up her own policies and not adhering to the companies. My second issue was an order I placed online for 4 skeins of yarn. I got an email it had been delivered but not to me. When I checked the tracking # it was delivered to someone in another state. They had to refund that one and reorder. Now, I'm on my 3rd issue. I ordered another 4 skeins of yarn online and received them today however, they are not the color I ordered! Tried calling customer service and they are closed today for new years eve but said they would be there tomorrow on new years day? Really. Several times I have tried to order this yarn on line from the store because it shows they have it only to get an email cancelling my order because they don't have it so I have to order it to be shipped. How do they stay in business? I am beyond upset at this point. Problem is some of this yarn is only sold at this chain unless you want to pay double for it on ******. I will call customer service again to resolve yet another one of their mistakes. If they don't get it together, I don't see them being in business much longer.

      On December 4, 2024, I placed an order with Joann Fabrics’ online store. After weeks of waiting, I only just received the final item in my order. Unfortunately, this item—the one I wanted the most—arrived shattered. It is a ceramic product that was not packaged with the necessary care; it did not come in a box marked “fragile” and was packed with only thin Styrofoam, leaving it completely unsupported and unprotected during shipping. Additionally, the other items I ordered arrived earlier in the week in a single mailer bag. These items, which should have been packed in a sturdy box, were bent, broken, and damaged when I opened them. This entire experience has involved a significant amount of back-and-forth with customer service as I attempted to get refunds or resolution for the damaged products. The delays, coupled with the poor packaging and damaged goods, have been extremely frustrating and disappointing, especially as this order was intended for my holiday season. They mail small items one by one instead of the entire order. I literally received 1 kitchen towel from an order with several items. Do not order from them. Reaching customer service took 2 separate attempts to get a response and they only use a contact form.

      I placed an order over a week ago. Only part of my order has shipped. They are holding the rest hostage and it has been sitting at the distribution center in **** since 11/26. I have attempted to reach customer service, but after 15 minutes on hold, I had to hang up. Ive filled out their form to get contacted, and Ive yet to hear back. Im going to have to dispute the charges with my bank at this point. I will NEVER order from them again!

      I will never online again. I made two separate purchases the same day on clearance Christmas items, usingmy debitcard. Mybankpaidimmediately. The following day two more charges showed up on my account. I called immediately to find out what was going on. The very non-helpful customer service *** told me that is standard procedure to be sure I have money in my account. I was assured that, once all items were shipped, those charges would disappear. Then I was told that everything is being shipped separately because they're out of some items, and I have to wait for those. I received two emails immediately stating the amounts of my purchases which were, as I stated above, taken from my bank account immediately. Then I started getting emails that said things were being shipped piecemeal and that some were arriving the following day. Well, that was four days ago and nothing has arrived yet. I told the *** on the phone, during both phone calls, that I will never do business online with them again. No apologies, no customer support whatsoever. They simply kept ***eating store policy, which, by the way is written nowhere on the order forms. These folks are neither professional, caring nor particularly honest as far as I can tell.

      Never order online. They charged me for me full order the day I placed the order, Then as each item shipped, they charged me individually again. This put a hold on money in my bank account
