In March of 2004 the General Manager for the Fairfield Inn Resigned. At that time the Hotel mixed up my room billings and my credit card with another guest. This resulted in double billings, overcharging my room rate and overcharging the ***** ** **** ******** Tax. At this time i had already stayed at the hotel for seven months without a problem. When i received my February / March invoice in April I noticed billing issues. I meet with the Hotel Desk Clerk to try to resolve. In May the Desk Clerk meet with the Hotel Owner without a response, After the May meeting i started emailing the Hotel Owner ****** ***** at the ******** Group my billing issues. To date she has never responded, On July 8th after staying at the Hotel 11 months, the Front Desk Clerk relayed me a message from the Owner "that i would not be getting any (blank) credit and if i pursued it, the hotel would retroactive charge me a higher rate for the past 11 months. I told the Desk Clerk, I was over billed by $4,000. The Desk Clerk's response "by her calculation it was higher." Chase the credit cad i used would not assist saying it was a vendor i had used.
