Their terms for cancellation are very narrow and even when you do qualify they try to make you jump through hoops. The contract required 2 documents proving a change in address but when I sent them I didn’t hear back from anyone. When I called an over week later they said they required another document for my cancellation to be approved. Terrible communication since apparently nobody was going to tell me. Since they expect everyone to read the contract thoroughly, they should read it themselves. The contract requires that they receive 2 documents. It doesn’t say that they have to be 2 approved documents nor does it specify what type of documents they have to be. After explaining this to them they did end up approving my cancellation but I really shouldn’t have had to explain their own contract to them for my cancellation to be approved.EveryBody Fitness, LLC

It is essential that all documents submitted to our billing department for relocation are approved. This gym is substandard. given my experience at other gyms, I reached out to them and explained the dangerous conditions at the facility I go to. all I got back was "Oh well. You signed a 36 month contract". After I provided evidence of such conditions, I got nothing but silence. This place is a joke.EveryBody Fitness, LLC

I received an email from Mr. ****** and responded in a timely manner. Here is my email response: Thank you for bringing these items to our attention. However, maintenance has already fixed all of the treadmills. Currently we have no outstanding maintenance issues. Pins not being attached to the coils do not affect how the machine operates. The cancellation policy is outlined in your membership agreement. You are unable to cancel your membership at this time. Thank you, EveryBody Fitness In addition, we have maintenance team who diligently maintain equipment and the rest of our facility. There are no safety issues. 1 starI’ve asked this company several times to remove me from their trashy and outdated marketing texting tactics. Yet I still receive them regularly. Check yelp reviews too. The deals are far from deals and the management is absolutely awful. There is a huge reason they aren’t bbb accredited because even if they wanted to there is no saving them from the giant hole they’ve created for themselves in this community. I haven’t heard one good experience about them from any of my local gym goers. Want more proof? Just look at their terrible responses to the reviews here! Reading their responses just now further validates what kind of “no fault” company they are. Zero accountability. Sad story. Ps everybody fitness, I’ve already asked you to quit sending me anything related to you so your response here will only fall on deaf ears and mean absolutely nothing other than how tone deaf you are. How could any response on your part mean anything when you can’t even remove somebody that has requested to be countless times? Allow me to help your response here… just leave people alone that want nothing to do with you? I’m sure there will be others that haven’t simply googled your company that you can scam in the absence of those that know but you continue to bother anyway. They are criminals. They have a very predatory 3yr contract that is supposed to go to month to month after that 3yr period. I went into their month to month status and eventually tried to cancel I gave them a full months notice and then they charge me another $44 the month after. Mr. B**** signed a 36 month agreement with us which automatically renewed, at a lower rate, at the end of his term. After he submitted this review he filed a dispute with his credit card company for the $44 annual fee that was charged to his membership. It was determined by our billing company that he was charged the fee in error so he got his money back.Review fromJamerah C

This gym Is a scam & have the WORST customer service EVER!! They have outside companies come In and offer boot camps and etc for weight loss all while paying for your 3rd party program they make you get a gym membership to utilize the program In their gym not telling you that It’s a contract that your signing knowing that your only there for the program and not the gym. The program has ended years ago and I’ve called to cancel several times during both my pregnancies when I had no need to utilize a gym and etc first I was told 2 years I call back today and now they say It’s 3 years. The customer service line Is very rude and not helpful at all. I do not recommend this gym I’ve literally paid every month and hasn’t stepped foot In their gym since 2022. That’s a scam! I don’t care about the loss money I Just don’t want to pay any more and they want 500 dollars to cancel they are a scam!!EveryBody Fitness, LLC

She signed up for a membership in 2022 with a 36 month term. We have a separate document stating she understood the length of the term and a signed agreement. The agreement isn't based on whether she uses the gym or not.Review fromJeff M

Been a member for 12 years. Great place. Clean and plenty of equipment. 24 hour access is great. I usually go after work about 4pm. Daycare is always open and staffed.EveryBody Fitness, LLC

This place is terrible PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE. me and my husband signed up for a MONTHLY membership after our free trial and when we signed the "contract" come to find out they switched it to a 3year contract. IM SORRY WHAT???. we have tried to go and they never had childcare, most of there machines are broke and they told us that we are stuck for the three years because we signed the contract and we did but it was done electronically and it was signed for the monthly NOT THE THREE YEAR CRAP THEY SENT US. please I hope people read this and don't waste there money. Once they lock you into the three year contract THEY WONT LET YOU OUT OF IT AND THEY DPNT CARE. We honestly don't know what to do. It's alot of money to begin with. Breanna signed up using our online portal. After signing the contract a copy was automatically emailed to her. All terms and conditions of the contract are clearly defined. There is no way for us to switch anything after the contract was signed. She really needs to read what she signed and not blame us for her lack of due diligence. Couldn't give them zero stars ..they scammed my wife into signing a 3 yr contract ..that no one explained was 3 yrs ..ever and now wanna hang up on us ..worst customer service ..they will have you just sign paperwork says monthly payment ...if you read the small prints it's 22 a month for 36 months ..but they don't tell you that ..at all o by the way its 600 in cancelation fees ...this is why America's shit ..because there's no pride in buissness owner ship anymore..the better buissness burea should shut these clowns downEveryBody Fitness, LLC

It’s a scam- read contracts before you sign people! My first mistake was canceling over the phone, unfortunately that is not a valid form of cancellation via the contract. I was directly told otherwise. Years later, they have renewed my contract and now I owe a monthly fee. At first I legitimately did not believe the people calling me were the real business- I had already canceled and had not payed for years! Then they charged my old card, so I read my contract and it states you can only cancel via letter. When I called the financial office they told me it will only be acceptable through email- but it specifically states email is not valid in the contract. They changed their story when I read the contract back to them. They told me the address changed from the one on the contract. When I asked for the updated address on the contract they refused to give me the updated contract stating it doesn’t exist, even though they changed the cancellation information section. So now I’m going to mail both addresses, and email, in order to cancel because I can’t trust a word they say. I do not recommend. I was young and dumb (18 years old)- don’t be like me. I am so sorry that you have had trouble with cancelling your membership. I did reach out to our billing company, and they confirmed that they made a mistake when they initially were supposed to cancel your membership. They went back through the records and realized that your account should have been cancelled but due to human error it wasn't. Please accept my apologies on their behalf. Your membership is cancelled with no further money due.
