On February 2, 2022, I drove to this address to pick up a Toy Fox Terrier as described in an online ad in a puppy site as well as in a phone call to Lisa. It was a 4 hour drive to her place and I called her again when I got there. I saw the puppy but was told I couldn’t see his 5 sister littermates as a German Shepherd was in labor. I paid the $250.00 to her and she gave me a file folder with the puppie’s instructions on it and she gave the puppy his “second” round of shots. She handed me the puppy and a bag of stuff. Inside the bag was unknown puppy/dog food loose in the bottom of a plastic shopping bag and a can of dog food, when I asked about the dog’s ears (they weren’t standing up yet), dewclaws ( he had them but they usually don’t), his undocked tail, and lack of spot patterns on his belly, she was dismissive about my questions. Then she scuttled back inside and we drove off. I am not a Toy Fox Terrier expert, but I wanted a small dog as I’m not a young person. He’s 7 months now, over 20 pounds, and not a Toy Fox Terrier or even a Smooth Fox Terrier. My vet has him listed as a mixed breed puppy. I’m getting a dog DNA done to see what mixes he is, but that takes awhile. He’s definitely not a Toy Fox Terrier and I could have gotten a small mixed breed from a friend for free, but I drove 200 miles one way to get a Toy Fox Terrier, paid $250.00 for a Toy Fox Terrier, and got a mixed breed puppy. I’d like my $250.00 back as he isn’t what she described. I had just lost my 16 year old Toy Fox Terrier and just wanted another one. I didn’t get what I paid for.
