The following describes a pending government action that has been formally brought by a government agency but has not yet been resolved. We are providing a summary of the government's allegations, which have not yet been proven.
On August 19, 2019 Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost filed a lawsuit with Morgan County Common Pleas Court against Patrick Eltringham and his company's Twin Building Supply and Wilson Contracting. The lawsuit accuses Eltringham of violating consumer protection laws including failing to deliver promised services, performing shoddy work and or substandard work, performing services in an unworkmanlike manner, not providing service contracts with required information, and failing to provide required notices to consumers about their cancellation rights for construction contracts. In the lawsuit, the Attorney General is seeking to issue a permanent injunction, reimbursement to all consumers damaged and a civil penatly of $25,000 and payment of all court costs.
