      Description: Const states he was going to buy windows from MBR LLC windows and he got an estimate of 10,500.00 He gave him a down payment of 5,250.00 but the job was never completed and now he will not answer the const calls.

      The distributor has been running behind ive called mr ******** every step of the way letting him know of whats going on the windows arrived at  marsh and we areready to schedule install please advise

      The business owner has not returned my calls or replied to my texts since late November. Any communication that I had with this business owner had been initiated by me, and only followed up by minimal replies. I have little confidence that the windows are now available on the same day that I spoke with the BBB.  At thus time I would like a refund for the down-payment of $5,250.00 that was paid on October 2nd, 2023. I have attached screenshots of our text history below.

      I have in fact reach out to Mr. ******** several times as no refund will be given the windows or custom built. They are in and paid for. I cannot return the windows that we custom ordered for him. I spoke to Mr. ******** today over the phone at 6 o’clock, he will not be getting a refund. I advised that we would be in touch on the second to schedule the install.

      the business called him and wants to do the install after the 1st of the year. He is agreeable to this and wants BBB to know he has accepted the phone offer from the business.

      I went into the contract Oct 6,2023 with MBR, LLC for windows & installation.I org. put down 50% of the invoice they presented to me which was $3,605 for a total Invoice of $7,210 . It is now 12-7-23 I have Lead & I do not believe it was treated properly. they only swept with a broom they did not vacuum. They did not put plastic wrap on items of ours so that the lead did not contaminate our home. They did not fulfill the terms of the contract concerning spraying products ie: RWD, type of finish, Hilti spray, for installing the windows,was to help make everything stay tight. Chalking was not done correctly. The job is not completed & I have missed 6 appointments. They are coming out 12-18 to attempt to finish my job. But they have said that approx 9 other times. They are telling me to wait until then but I have gaps on the side of my windows that I can see out on the street. It is cold out! The 18th is too far out. I want my job completed according to the contract In a timely fashion. I believe you have to be licensed to be able to install Provia windows & I don't believe the installer is licensed for installing Provia Windows. I want this job done well & how it was advertised.

      The job is not complete I put him on the schedule to complete he said he was canceling contract 10 day notice after install was done the finish work exterior still needs done that is 10 percent of the jobs completion would take 3 hours to complete, the job has exterior and some punch out  work if customer doesn’t allow us to finish as he stated do not come to my property and we don’t finish the work. His warranty will be canceled through distributor as I cannot warranty work that I did not complete against professional opinion he’s making decisions. I will finish the work, whether paid or not, and we can seek payment after. Mr. ***** elected to cancel when job was 10% from complete. He knew there was still work to be done as it was raining the day we were working you cannot put metal and caulking up in the rain. He has not given us a sufficient chance to finish the exterior since the windows have been installed

      Mr. ******s understood that the in-house financing was conditional. All the criteria had to be met as spoken about although it was not written. We had a verbal agreement that he would provide certain things. He did not provide certain things if he would like to provide the name of his employer, as well as employers phone number and three credible references as checked out the references he gave or not good references. I will need three good references, and his employers number and name and then we could continue on. I advised Mr. ******s that the warranty has been stopped Through provia as the windows are not completed on the outside outside the longer, he waits for this to be completed. I don’t know that we will be able to re-warranty the windows in the case that we are doing this back-and-forth thing I will not be able to honor the contract, as promised if he doesn’t come to some kind of understanding and agreement, he has a very difficult customer and has no compromise. If he would like to fulfill his obligations to the in-house financing, we will reinstate him finish the contract, however I will not be able to finish the contract if it’s not soon as the warranty will not be recoverable

      Ransom claimed to breach our contract for going to the better business bureau. He tried to blackmail me so that I did not go to the better business bureau.  Please see screen shots. He said he might harass the contacts I gave him (as this was a pre-requisite to in house financing). Please see screen shots. I have since terminated the contract because Ransom breached our written/agreed upon contract in several ways. Please see screen shots. Because he has not behaved in a professional/workman like manner and has been at least posturing on the verge of harassment I do not see a possibility of trusting him either in my home or on my property. Ransom and MBR LLC missed several appointments over the course of the month with no good explanation. I genuinely cannot count the amount of lies that have occurred on behalf of MBR LLC./Ransom K*****.  However, what he said about an employer phone number and/or verbal discussion of terminating in-home financing is just false.  There was no mention of that.  We agreed to a written contract as I have sent over. I called the lawyer that Ransom texted me earlier to get to the bottom of this and the lawyer mentioned that he knew Ransom, but is not representing him in any way and seemed upset that Ransom was giving his contact information out to several of Ransom’s/MBR LLC’s disgruntled customers. I have already paid him $3,605.00 prior to procuring the windows and/or attempting to install the windows in my house.  Ransom did not want to settle.  Unfortunately this is another example of MBR LLC/Ransom K***** not being honest as he mentioned that I was not willing to compromise or resolve the dispute. Ransom was also reluctant to provide me the invoice for the windows, as I wanted to make sure he was fully compensated for them. Please see attached screen shot of my attempt to resolve the dispute.

      Consumer hired the company November 8, 2023 to repair a window. A deer broke the window. A neighbor put up a piece of plywood. Consumer has a signed contract dated November 8th. Gave company $432 deposit. Total price $864. The window was to be repaired in six to eight days. Consumer was told on November 28th the repair would be done by December 1st. The company did not show up or call on December 1st. Consumer has left numerous messages. Company does not return his phone calls.

      We will process a refund as ***** and ******* ***** would like a refund and to cancel the contract as you see in the uploaded return email below they signed the contract stating that they would be responsible for any monetary obligations that Mbr had taken on during contract time. We have purchased a glass and paid employees to go to the property, Mbr will be processing the 432 refund back minus whatever fees, including the material that Mbr has accrued due to contract

      12.5.2023 BBB received call from consumer stating that the only thing he received from the business is the invoice which states nothing about a charge if consumer wishes to cancel.
