  We purchased land with JDH back in April of 2021. When we purchased our land, we were forced to immediately get into a contract with JDH, make our selections, and put a large cash deposit on our home. We signed our contract for the custom build of our home in September 2021. From that point we were told that we would break ground in March of 2022 under a 12 month build contract.We were met with many excuses on the delay of our build, and after threatening to terminate our contract, we finally broke ground in September of 2022. We were promised our home would be complete December of 2023. That did not happen. The President of JDH then put in writing that the keys to our home would be in our hands by April 2024, and we found out today that date will also not be met. In fact, they are not even close to completing our home. We have still not been given a date when we will be in our home.We have run into many issues since that initial 2021 date. (Multiple liens placed on our property, materials being removed from our job site, accounting discrepancies, other job sites plugging into our power, our house flooding, adding additional expenses they forgot to include, and many more). They take no accountability for anything, and have yet to apologize for any situation. The blame is always placed on others. There is no protection for a home owner during this building process other than to terminate your agreement.We have spoken to several contractors and suppliers refusing to place orders for materials or complete work out of lack of trust in JDH. We then, voluntarily, offered to pay those contractors directly and pay deposits to guarantee work in order for our house to keep moving forward. Despite all of our gracious efforts (that are not normal practice in a build) to help pay for things and our willingness make several changes along the way, they still have done nothing on their end to help with the completion of our home in a timely manner.

  I cannot recommend this builder. When I signed there was one review here. Please do your research. i have posted reviews in an effort to save families moneys and frustration. There is a lack of communication and accountability for missed deadlines. I signed 6/29/2022 and I do not have a close date. I am completely disappointed with several aspects of my build. I paid for 5 custom upgrades and only one of them have been completed. The quality is simply not there. From my experience they do not have the staff to deliver homes timely. My rating is zero for communication and accountability.

  We’ve lived in our new JDH home for 6 months and I can say it is absolutely our dream come true. We couldn’t imagine a better home, and we are very glad we selected JDH. If you like the homes at Cincinnati *********, you will love the house that JDH builds for you. Starting with the architect, Jim is very talented! The house design is a modern ranch with a walk out basement. It really fits perfectly to the modern theme that we had envisioned with. We had a very difficult lot to build on and JDH figured it all out and perfectly shaped the house to the lot. JDH is very good at really listening to what you want the most and dialing in a custom quote for a house that fits to your budget. No more wasted space and a really perfect layout and flow. I want to thank Cindy as our sales lead who is brilliant and really creative in ideas that helped us to best utilize our budget. We were able to get the right layout of the house for our family, and get the high end touches, built ins, and finishes that we wanted. The selections team with Tarah and Bailey went smoothly and they were fantastic at recommending all the selections and materials. We had great inspiration from prior JDH homes photos where we were able to re-apply what we liked the most. The interior of our house looks just like a ********* home in the kitchen, master bath, great room, custom ceiling beams and arches, it’s very impressive. JDH uses the best vendors that do world class finishing work. I was glad that there wasn't any big bills or surprises at the end. When construction issues arose, they were resolved. A big thank you to DJ who was our excellent project manager for keeping everything going as fast as possible, communicating in weekly meetings. He was always available and frequently on site multiple times a week. Dave was great in knocking out our punch list after the home was built. If you saw our house, you would want to build with JDH too. Thank you to the JDH team for our forever home!

  Built our dream home and was very professional. Treated us like family. We enjoyed working with Cindy, Tarah and Ray. They communicated all the big and major details and made sure we were always happy with what was happening. They went above and beyond to make sure we where 100 percent satisfied. We are forever grateful to the staff at Justin Doyle Homes. We highly recommend using this company if you are deciding to build a beautiful home. You would not be disappointed.

  We are very pleased to have JDH build our custom home! From the onset, their Architect, Jim, and his team were able to capture and exceed our vision. Our sales agent, Cindy, designer, Tarah, and project manager, Dennis, have helped make our dream come true! Every project has snags, and JDH does everything it can to accommodate the buyers' desires willingly. Along with the many excellent vendors we have worked with, they have become our JDH family!

  The JDH team did a great job helping us design and build our custom home. The process they use from the creation to implementation was well structured and, we believe, made the building process low stress. Our design team (Tarah and Bailey)did a great job providing ideas and recommendations. They were fun to work with. Our sales agent (Cindy) was extremely helpful and stay involved from the start. Our building manager (Ray) daily communication with updates/status was great. Whether it was Builders Trend app or phone call, we were always in the loop. We learned a lot and he caught errors that eliminated possible issues. Ray went out of his way to help me/guide me with a special project I orchestrated. No building process is simple but JDH certainly ranks high in our book.

  We are almost at the 4 year mark working with Justin Doyle Homes. Our house is no where near complete. We have had 7 project managers over the course of our build. Because of the high turnover and very poor communication, many mistakes have been made resulting in our roof being reframed twice, our cabinets being reinstalled 3 times, we are still waiting on our hardwood floors to be replaced. We were told 2-3 weeks in October and today we were told the product isn’t in yet. I wouldn’t be surprised if it hasn’t even been ordered. The flooring and tile company they use has made 11 major mistakes in our home. Our deck railings have been redone 3 times. There is no attention to detail. No above and beyond customer service you would expect to get paying astronomically more for your home than with a non custom builder. You fall for the sales pitch and then are screwed for the next 4 plus years of your life with no end in sight. Do not build with this company. I promise you will highly regret it.
