    Powder Keg Harley-Davidson is an unscrupulous dealership, in my opinion. I saw a bike for sale on their website, so I called to confirm that it was in stock and still for sale. The price seemed reasonable. The salesman told me they had the bike for sale for almost six months. He further said the price had been reduced due to the bike not selling. Further, they have a systematic method for mandatory price reductions for aging inventory. He verified the price, and I said I wanted to purchase the bike. He asked if I was interested in financing, and I told him I would finance part of the purchase price. He told me I would need to complete a credit application online. They sent me a link. I finished the application and was approved for the loan. Then the salesman said I needed to speak to the sales manager and transferred me to the sales manager. The sales manager said he needed to go over the final details. He said there were some additional mark-ups regarding the price. They totaled appropriately an extra $3000. I told him that I was not interested in the additional mark-up items and wanted to buy the bike for the advertised price they had and still have listed on their website. It was Saturday and he said that he would have to talk to the general sales manager regarding honoring the advertised price and get back with me on Tuesday since they would be closed on Monday. When Tuesday morning rolled around, the salesman called me back and said they were unwilling to take the price advertised on their website. He further stated that the price would be the price they have on their website plus an additional approximately $ 3000.00. Who does that? It seems like some form of bait and switch to me. This Harley Davidson dealership is not above board when it comes to honesty. If they misrepresent their prices on purchases, It's been almost a week, and the bike is still listed for sale on their website without the appropriate $3000.00 dealer mark-up.

    I purchased a **** Harley Davidson on 2-10-2023 from Powder Keg HD. Prior to the purchase, I communicated via text to whether the Motorcycle was scratched or blemished. I live approximately three hours away and they were going to deliver the motorcycle to me. The sales rep replied via text that the only scratch was on the tank trim and he sent me a pic of the scratch. He said that they would replace the trim and did so which I thought was great. Upon delivery of the Motorcycle, I found a large scratch and scuff on the left side saddlebag. I contacted Chandra the sales manager via text and after going back and forth the best they could offer is for me to buy a new saddle bag from them for cost (531.73). You cannot touch up the paint due to the heavy metal flake in the paint. After refusing the offer, they stopped returning my texts. I have in writing (text) that the motorcycle was not scratched or blemished except for the tank trim. I most definitely would not have purchased this motorcycle knowing that it was scratched. Chandra stated that "it is a pre-owned bike and occasionally scuffs do get missed" I am looking for a replacement left hand lower saddlebag (lid is fine). The motorcycle has less than 8000 miles on it and I paid 18,923. +tax for this. I had an opportunity to buy the same color motorcycle from private seller but chose to go with a dealer so that I wouldn't have to deal with this kind of issue. Thank You

    A new saddlebag has been ordered to replace the damaged one. Once the part has shipped to the dealership, we will coordinate with the service department to get the unit in to replace it. We understand the customer lives three hours away so we can have it scheduled to be picked up from his location in order to make the necessary repairs if that would be more convenient. We appreciate *** *********** business and look forward to servicing his motorcycle in the future.
