    My mom was in this facility. She had Dementia. I would not recommend Mason Health Care Center at all . They are understaffed . Before Covid they had some really caring and compassionate employees, its no longer that way . My mom had Covid back in January and she had to be isolated, which is understandable, however they put her in a separate room due to having a roommate and for 7 days she had no Tv in that room . I live out of state and had to call and complain every day . She didnt read or do puzzles, she enjoyed watching TV and that was taken away from her . Also at that time a nurse didnt know that my mom was suppose to be on oxygen 24/7 , the nurse was from a temp agency.They were supposed to help my mom eat , encourage and spoon feed her , didnt happen . The last episode took my moms life . I went to visit my mom and walked into her room and thought she was just sleeping, I tapped on her shoulder and told her I was here , she wouldnt wake up . There was aids in the room and a nurse helping the roommate and they said , oh we been trying to wake her up but she wont. They been trying for roughly 15 hours .. I had to tell them to call 911 .. my mom had a really bad urinary tract infection that was left untreated.I would not even give this facility a 1 star , I had to do that in order to write in the comments . There were other episodes as well.
