Paid advertisement in the *** Times newspaper by federated mint company. Placed an order for gold on 11/22/22. Never received an email confirmation. Reached out & an Emily stated via email my order was in their system & was due to ship in 90 days. Did not receive item & there has been no reciprocal communication since. Sent emails inquiring on the status of the gold and no response. This company has little to no customer service & appears to be a scam. :( We spent hard earned money on something we never received with no explanation as to why. Do not recommend this company. Thought it being advertised in our regional newspaper that it was legit. They have yet to show that they are.Initial Complaint

I purchased a bag of money from Federated Mint on 9/13/22 for the amount of $ 668.00. They never delivered the money. I have been emailing them for several months to no avail. I tried to get my credit card company to help but it's been too long since the purchase. My partner had a stroke last year and needed a hip replacement this year so I haven't had the proper amount of time to try and resolve. She needs constant care.Initial Complaint

I’m filing a complaint because I ordered coins from there 2/14/2022 and never got them. I kept calling them in June 2022 they said there was a delay. I waited called them sept , October. They said it was on the way. I finally called to canceled the order 2/14/23 they said the check for 1000.00 would be in the mail. And nothing. They kept stringing me along now their number isn’t working.Initial Complaint

On or around 2/8/22 I purchased from Franklin mint silver coins for$1,075.00 and have received nothing. On 2/13/23 I called and was told my Purchase number of ******** with delivery via *** between the dates of 2/13/23 to2/23/23. Still nothing was received. I have since called the same phone number 888 -8173079 and phone number not working anymore. Please tell me what I can do to collect a refund. Sincerely ***** *********Initial Complaint

There was a full page ad in local paper for people in certain zip code areas that the Federated Mint was giving the opportunity to purchase "Unsearched Vault Bags weighing nearly 3lbs". I decided to purchase one at the cost of $980, but still have not received said coins. I have received several emails and phone calls stating that due to COVID, shipments had been delayed and then they would set a specific date to ship or even sooner. I was going to cancel the order and get a refund. Called number that was included in their emails/phone calls, and it is now some medical business. Checked here on the BBB and was informed the Federated Mint went out of business. I have filed a dispute with my financial facility as well. I have included order confirmation and what emails I had as well.Initial Complaint

In May of 2022, we ordered several bags of coins from this business. Our total paid at that time were $1275. We have never received the bags. I called them in September and they informed me that orders were backed up but we should receive them soon. In December I received an email stating I would receive the bags in January. We have still not received any. Now when you call the customer care center you either get no answer or a scam recording.Initial Complaint

I purchased coins after seeing the ad in the local newspaper. They kept putting me off by saying the coins was delayed and will be shipped within two weeks. Now th set have a post on their website saying to do a chargeback on my card except there is a problem——the purchase was more than 90 days and the bank won’t do a chargeback that old. Plus now the only number goes to medical alert company. This was unscrupulous and down right fraudulent advertisement and now they are a thief. The Federate Mint company was called twice for refund. Before that I was told the coins would be shipping by August 2022 then I called and was told I would receive a check in two weeks. I went on a forgot it. Going through paperwork for tax preparation I discovered my note Lost $2900. What do I do now?Initial Complaint

February 9th 2023 I canceled an order I had previously made for coins. My order number was FM ******* I paid $2017.00. I was told I would receive a refund check within 21 days. I have not received the refund. And now the phone number is no longer theirs. I can not contact them.Initial Complaint

On may 19,2022 I ordered on phone from Federated Mint (2) two 4lb bags of uncirculated coins for $590. Ea. Total $1180.00 This company ran a full page advertisement in the Yakima Herald my local newspaper. They sent me a confirmation e-mail on my purchase which I still have, but as of today 3/29/2023 I have not received my purchase. I called numerous times to check status of my order - FM ****** and was told a date usually 3-4 weeks out that it would ship. My contacting them by phone were on 10/2022 - 11/2023 - 12/2022 - 1/2023 - 2/2023. On 3/08/2023 my number wouldn’t go through as their phone number was disconnected so now I’m out Options, Can you help guide me to what to do next? Also I canceled my order and they said they would mail me my money back and that would be in 3-4 wks that call took place 2/2023. Now their phone is disconnected,
