After seeing an ad in our local paper, I placed an order on 5/21/2022 for a bag of coins at a cost of $1900. I contacted customer service and was told that my shipment would be delayed and I would receive it in July. then August. Then September. This continued into 2023. I called and talked to an employee on the phone in January 2023 and was assured a refund would be immediately sent to me. Then on 2/10/2023. there is no answer when I call and I received no response when I sent an email. I would still like to receive the coins if they still exist or receive a refund for my purchase if they don't.Initial Complaint

I contacted customer service and was told that my shipment would be on 2/13/2023. the phone no longer answers after several attempts and sent an e-mail with no response. I purchased Morgan Silver Dollars from this company, Federated Mint, in June, 2022, for the price of $3,900.00, and never received the product. They sent me 2 emails, 1 in November and 1 in December saying that the shipments would be delayed, but I would receive them. They never arrived, and it is now the end of March, 2023.Initial Complaint

On April 20, 2022, I purchased a 3 pound bag of "unsearched coins" for $980. A full page advertisement was printed in the Greensboro NC newspaper for this. I was told the delivery date would be between June 1 to June 22, 2022. On June 29, Denise of Federated Mint told me that the delivery was delayed and it would be in July. In July, I was given a date of August 24. Next I was given a delivery date of Sep 26, then December 12. I was promised a 10% refund and never received in December. Finally in January, I told them to cancel my order and refund my $980. I was told it would take 14 to 21 days. I have never received the money and now it has been almost one year. How can I dispute this with my bank after so long. This company kept me hanging on that I would get the product I purchased. Now I get nothing when I call the number. What can I do?Initial Complaint

In September 2022 i paid $1250 for 2 bags of silver coins and 3 bags wheat pennies never received anything, they won't answer phone. Federated Mint in Canton Ohio ripping people off with no help by anyone.Initial Complaint

My order was to receive a three (3) pound Vault Bag of "unsearched" US Coins loaded with over two hundred Government Issued Coins of collector grade quality. Original date of this transaction was January 27, 2022, order # ******** and the original purchase was $980.00. On September 23, 2022, I received a 10% ($98.00) discount for a delay in shipping until October 14, 2022, but still did not receive the package. As of March 18, 2023, I have not received the product ordered. I would like to be reimbursed $882.00 and cancel my order. I have spoken with several customer service personnel on several calls with no success in receiving my requested order. This original order has been overdue. Please help to resolve this issue. I saw an ad in the Denver paper and called to place an order on October 21, 2022. I ordered two items: a 3 lb. unsearched vault bag and a wheat cent vault bag. I was told I would receive them in approximately 60 days. I was going to give the items as Christmas gifts. I called on 12/6/22 and was notified that the items probably would not ship for another 30-60 days so I cancelled the items. I asked for a refund to my credit card and they said since they usually send a check refund, they would have to get approval and to expect a refund in 10-14 days. I spoke to Carol this time. Nothing happened so I called back again on 1/3/23. They said again that I should expect a refund in 10-14 days. Nothing happened, so I called back again on 2/2/23 and spoke to Christine who transferred me to Isiah. Same story. Since then, I have called on 2/14, 2/16, 2/29, 2/21, and 3/3. I was unable to reach a human the last 5 times and left a voicemail as their system response promised that they have a "new improved" response system in place. The last three times I have called, I just get disconnected. Any help you could offer in order for e to get my refund of $999 would be greatly appreciated!! I attach a copy of the confirmation email I received as well as a copy of my credit card statement (this item only) where I was billed.Initial Complaint

The date of my transaction was 7 October 2022. The Federated Mint LLC advertised the sale of three (3) pounds of pre 1964 silver dollars for a specified amount of money. I paid the amount of money using a credit card. My credit card has been charged that amount. The company told me I could expect delivery of my silver dollars after 90 business days. That delivery should have been made on or about 10 February 2023. I have not received anything as of this date, 15 March 2023. I've called Federated Mint several times and have sent emails to them with no response and have asked them for a tracking number for shipment of my order. I have received NOTHING from them what so ever. I would appreciate your help in either receiving my order or the refund of my payment. Please let me know if you require additional information. I ordered coins from Federated Mint on 10/12/2022 totaling over 1000$. It is now 3/14/2023 and they coins have not arrived. Which is well over a month of when the coins were supposed to arrive. On top of all this, I cannot contact the company with questions because their phone number is not ringing/going through. Also, on my initial phone call with the company I asked if they were a private company and they assured me they were with the federal government, but upon further investigation I found that they are in fact a private company. Meaning they lied about being associated with the federal government. I am worried I got scammed by this company due to their constant lies.
