      I had the premier membership and on the phone, the representative said I would be getting a free battery. However, on arrival, I was charged for the battery. I paid it and decided to call customer service again, where they filed an investigation. I received a voice mail from ******* a few days later saying I will be refunded for the battery cost (voicemail attached). I have still not received a refund of the $176 battery cost, over 6 months later. According to the voice message transcript Hello, this message is for ***. Will tell you I'm mr. ****. I did go ahead and review your account again, it does look like you are you are a classic level membership. You're not here. I will go ahead and give you the $165 back. We will go ahead and honor that. However, you are the classic level membership, and you would not be entitled to or from your faith in the future. Unless you go back up to the premier level with the battery benefits. If you have any additional questions, feel free to give me a call back at ************. Thank you. Have a good day.

      My membership no *****************- for years without ever using my plus card which offers battery replacement. I called for battery service several months ago. Once the AAA truck arrived I was told that my 85 Mercedes Benz was too old and I would have to purchase a battery. I noticed on the truck the SAME BATTERY REQUIRED TO REPLACE MY OLD BATTERY!!!! the first fraud... I was required to fill out an application to replace the battery I paid for EVEN THOUGH I HAD A-PLUS CARD, PAID FOR THIS OVER THE YEARS... I HAVE CALLED AND E-MAILED AAA, CONFIRMED THAT MY APPLICATION FOR A REFUND HAD BEEN RECEIVED, YET NO REFUND FOR 147.00 HAS BEEN PROCESSED. THIS IS A FRAUDULENT ADVERTISEMENT AND MANAGEMENT SHOULD BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE. NOT ONLY WAS THE BATTERY INCLUDED IN MY MEMBERSHIP FEE NOT PROVIDED... BUT AAA HAS COMPLETELY IGNORED MY REFUND REQUEST FOR MONTHS. I ALSO WOULD LIKE A REFUND FOR MY CURRENT MEMBERSHIP. I GAVE THEM THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT 12/1/21 THAT THEY WOULD HAVE REFUNDED MY BATTERY MONEY. NOT ONE WORD OF FOLLOW-UP SINCE.

      Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/12/17) */ This reimbursement was denied as the member did not have a previous AAA battery purchase documented on their membership and the plus level membership does not include a free battery. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2021/12/21) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) My membership clearly stated battery replacement. The AAA service department stated that since the battery for my car was not available I would have to purchase a battery and be refunded for it. This is criminal and complete fraud. I paid additional fee for the replacement battery option. The service was documented by both AAA operator and the service provider made notations in the record that I was to be reimbursed for the battery. What kind of horrific moronic answer to a covered policy REIMBURSEMENT for battery replacement is a" Free Battery NOT COVERED response? I will NEVER USE AAA AGAIN AND PLEAE POST THEIR RESPONSE FOR OTHERS WHO WILL BE RIPPED OFF BY THE FRAUDULENT COVERAGE.

      Did not provide the towing services x2 I am entitled to as a member in good standing. I filed complaints, sent numerous emails and spent hours on the phone trying to get a resolution only to be ignored with no follow up or refund of my membership dues. They have done nothing to address my complaint and request for a refund of my membership.

      AAA claims that I agreed to "automatic renewal" on my roadside assistance policy and charged my CC $249 for renewing the policy for an additional year. According to AAA refund policy "Membership dues payments including renewals, upgrades and added associate Members will not be refunded once applied to your membership; however, your membership will remain in force until it expires." I did not agee to "automatic renewal" or want this policy continued in 2021. I requested from a AAA representative proof in the original contract of automatic renewal. I also requested a copy of the verbal transcriptions where automatic renewal was explained and agreed to, but was told they only keep records for 6 months. I was not able to get a refund.

      On 8/20/2021, AAA towed my vehicle to dealer w/ e brake on and damaged vehicle. Vehicle was towed on a wrecker instead of a roll back/flat bed as requested. A lot of warning lights were on after tow of vehicle. Emailed ************************** w/ explanation and invoice from dealer attached and no response. Called AAA on several occasions just to get bounced around w/ no resolution.
