    Date of transaction: 03/20/2023 Amount of money paid: $10,000.00 What is the business supposed to provide for me: Build ( 2 ) lean to roofs, one 30' wide by 15' deep and one 20' wide by 15' deep onto the existing metal barn. roof material will be 9" premium rib metal. Replace barn door 10' x 12' with new metal and replace all trim on barn to match. Material cost $10,000.00 and is due on acceptance of the estimate, Balance is due on completion of $3,488.30. Job start date is dependant on weather and special order material delivery. Estimated start date is April 10th, 2023. Nature of dispute: Builder cashed my check for $10,00.00 same day as written. It has been over 6 months and 40 pcs. wood on ground,5 holes drilled and filled with cement and nothing else done, I have had 7 texts 03/17/2023 to 07/29/2023 from builder and only 4 calls from 03/17/2023 to 05/09/2023 from him. Last and only work performed was on approximately 07/27/2023, since then, continued no call and no show. Verbally claiming on day one and many times since that this job will only take 3 days to complete. I have been believing that and counting on that and waiting for something to get started so it can get done. There have been many 3 day rain free work days this spring,summer and now fall. I have been more than patient and understanding with them but i am not counting on them for anything anymore. As of today i want my money back minus $665.00 which more than covers the costs for: cement cost and labor, post hole rental cost and labor ,labor for picking up and delivering 40 pcs. of 2 x 8 x 16' which builder can return for his money back. The wood is bowing ,twisting and warping laying on the ground, i will not accept wood in its present condition.
