We purchased new granite countertops from **** *****, who contracted ***, who contracted Cooper Home Repair to do the actual installation. During installation, the crew of three men from Cooper were lifting the largest piece of granite into place and dropped it on our kitchen floor. Our kitchen floor and subfloor are badly damaged from this incident. The crew in our house told us their manager would contact us the next day in regards to properly fixing our floor. Instead, I had to track down the company phone number to contact Cooper Home Repair myself a week later. Their first solution was to have someone come fix the floor under the table and provided a solution that would not work for our type of flooring. This is unethical and not acceptable. I then had to get **** ***** and *** involved to speak to Cooper Home Repair in order to get in contact with Cooper's insurance adjustor to begin the claim process to fix our floor. The lack of communication, professionalism, and concern from this company is appalling. Their first instinct is to provide subpar solutions when they damage your property and make themselves purposefully hard to get ahold of so you cannot receive help through the proper channels. I do not recommend this business to anyone.

Sorry you feel this way. Unfortunately, the color you selected is a very fragile material. The installers did not drop the piece on your floor the material fell apart when lifting into place. That was on Thursday October 13th at 5pm. The floor repair company was contacted on Friday October 14th, which you were then contacted by the repair company on Monday October 17th and scheduled for repair on Thursday November 10th. Then ***** your boyfriend stated to the repair gentleman that he had concerns with the longevity and how it was being repaired. I forwarded that email to KBR showing that you all had concerns. On Wednesday October 19th you text me which then was forwarded to KBR as well, KBR then contacted you. Then KBR contacted me back stating we needed to cancel the repair and turn this into an insurance claim. The claim was started on Thursday October 20th, this all happened within 5 business days. I feel that the response from my company and KBR was done in a very reasonable time frame. I have done everything within my power to resolve this matter in a professional way.
