I had Leaf Pro Gutter protection installed in July of 2022. The salesperson Brian told me there is a Full Lifetime Warranty and Clean up service included. I have debris and build up that needs attention. I cannot get a hold of this company. Both phone #'s listed on the website and contract are no longer in service. My emails have not been responded to. And Brian no longer works for the company. I paid a lot of money for this service. I would like someone from this company to contact me so that I can schedule my inspection and clean up.Business Response

Paid $2000, per 10/26/22 contract, upon completion of installation on 11/8/22. Informed installer (in person) and at the same time her manager (Jordan)(phone call) of deficiencies to include pictures of damage to deck step. Jordan informed his boss, Chris, would refunded $200 for the damaged step. I notified the company by phone and text (Jordan and Sherri) on several occasions. We pride ourselves on developing good, honest, and trustworthy leaders, but unfortunately, Chris, who we trusted to make this right, did not, as was the case with many other duties of his. The employees mentioned in the complaint, save Sherri, are no longer employed by Leaf Pro for conduct reasons we will keep in-house.
As a business that prides itself on honesty and integrity, we will honor the original compensation agreement for your trouble and get the $200 check sent to our customer before the end of the week.
As we are seeking to realign ourselves as a company and hire people who more closely reflect our standards and expectation, we would like to assure our customers that if any work we have done is not meeting their standards, we will do all we can to make it right and service anything we've previously installed.

I made an appointment for the 31st of August 2022. Leaf Pro didn’t show and sent a text for 10% off for having to move the appointment. On the 1st of September 2022, John ******** and I come to an agreement of $5,000 (half off), because of the 50% OFF THE ENTIRE PROJECT as advertised on ******** !!! Also advertised on ******** was “a 1-DAY, low-cost instillation” (which John claimed to have several CREWS) and “PREVENT YOUR GUTTERS FROM FREEZING” were sponsored by Leaf Pro. “A lifetime warranty with 100% MONEY-BACK NO CLOG GUARANTEE” was advertised and confirmed on the Agreements sent to me, but John forgot to add the new gutters, downspouts and the 100% MONEY-BACK NO CLOG GUARANTEE on the Agreement, which we argued over the phone over, so I refused to sign. Finally, on the 5th of October a sole installer arrived, and after seeing the second story, he made the excuse of removing a 1” x 1” trim on the fascia, so he didn’t have to return. (I got 3 estimates from competitors for non-discounted prices from $10,000 to $12,000 for the 6” gutters.) I specifically asked about the trim and no one professionally claimed the trim would be an issue.) About 1 week later, another lone installer showed up on Sunday, after I specifically told them about my religious services. About 1 month later, management, Jordan *******, a temp and the installer showed up to do the second story. Jordan hazardously bypassed the agreed-upon architectural plans for instillation, spitting in my direction, as I objected to his unsound alterations. Leaf Pro falsified a complete job with pictures from the same gutters claiming they were the second story. I stopped payment as the work was incomplete. Then several days later a snowstorm arrived and clogged my improperly-installed gutters, thereby invoking the 100% MONEY-BACK NO CLOG GUARANTEE. Now I am being constantly harassed by Leaf Pro and threatened to be taken to Court for their improperly installed, unfinished and CLOGGING GUTTERS !!!!Business Response

This complaint could not be further from the truth. We originally were contracted to do 6-inch gutters on customers home for the original price of $5,000.00. When we sent out gutter crew out there, they noticed the customer has damaged fascia board, slanted fascia, and no fascia wrap on their home. The job was financed through finance of *******. Our salesman contacted the homeowner and explained that we needed to build out the fascia board and wrap it which would be way more work than originally discussed. The finance company contacted Mr. ****** and he then agreed to the final price of $12,000. They have documented recordings of these phone exchanges where Mr. ****** agreed to the new finance price and then we were able to start the job. Upon completion the finance company contacted Mr. ****** in which he stated that our installers did fantastic work and that he wanted to make sure we got paid. The job was than scheduled for funding, but than Mr. ****** stopped. The customer multiple times stated how happy he was with the install, but our company was never funded any money for the job. Finance of ******* stated that we had to come to an agreement with Mr. ****** before we would be funded any money. In trying to contact Mr. ****** to finalize this and come to an agreement, he did not answer any of our calls to amicably come to an agreement. I, ***** ******, DO NOT ACCEPT and submit this rebuttal of this evasive and misleading Business Response by Leaf Pro Gutter Protection, LLC in BBB complaint ID # ********. My complaint is about the Clogging of gutters, False Advertisements of Leaf Pro and Leaf Pro’s refusal to honor any of said advertisements or agreements. [(the “10% off”), (“50% OFF THE ENTIRE JOB”), (“PROTECTS FROM WATER DAMAGE”), (“PREVENTS GUTTERS FROM FREEZING”), (“Protects against ICE DAMMING”), and the one that crossed the line was (“100% MONEY-BACK NO-CLOG GUARANTEE”), this trickery by Leaf Pro is called False Advertisement, as well as, bait-n-switch (the same trickery used to mislead myself into believing the job was finished, using same pics.) I have argued with the constant changing of the defrauding promises of the lead salesman, John ********, only to discover the misleading understandings and impressions that John proposed were only to raise the costs of my gutter job and not the quality.John ******** was allegedly unable to Guarantee the BRAND NEW 5” gutter job, not any 6” gutters, as no one at LEAF PRO would answer the phones for 3 days after I was mislead into believing that the job was finished, so I had the money put in escrow by the BANK.
John ******** claims the alleged FASCIA was Damaged, Slanted or needed to be BUILT OUT, which has never been discussed before here. The only thing discussed was the removal of the TRIM PIECE on the FASCIA. ( After a separate, second professional opinion from their competitor LEAF FILTER, LEAF FILTER’S professional opinion was that the TRIM wouldn’t affect the installation, and NO additional costs were related to the fascia in any way, shape or form. ) John also claimed that a single guy is a group of people, OR CREW, suggesting or implying that my gutter job would be done in a day or two, as advertised !!!
A salesman from the Leaf Pro Office decided the job was NOT BID properly, and Leaf Pro jumped to the conclusion that the prices should be significantly higher. Curiously there was NO FASCIA BOARD, nor any METAL WRAP total footage, on the architectural plan sent with the NEW AGREEMENT OF $12,000, NOR ON the inflated INVOICE that John proposed to ******* of ******* !!! The only talk was about the removal of the TRIM to add an extra inch to elongate the FASCIA, which appears on the Agreement. There are “CONSUMER PROTECTION LAWS” and “BREACH OF WARRANTY” laws !
The single guy who only part-time installed my gutters for 3 weeks, finally was able to get a CREW to assist on the second story part of my gutter instillation. This guy, a rookie and Jordan ******* did disregard, alter and ignore the architectural plans presented with the new $12,000 Agreement, which ultimately led to my GUTTERS BEING CLOGGED, ICE DAMMING and HAZARDOUS RINK OF ICE, in front of and surrounding my entryway door !!!! The improperly installed gutters and downspouts, of which, do negligently empty overtop my main entryway !! People have already fallen due to this treacherously mounted downspout overtop my doorway !!!This installation is so unprofessionally installed that the gutters and downspouts are pulling away from the house due to the weight of the CLOGGING of the gutters. According to John ********* approved architectural plans, there are supposed to be 2 second story downspouts emptying into the first story gutter at each end of the first story porch. Why did Jordan override the agreed upon plans to only put 1 downspout which empties onto the middle of the roof overtop my main entryway, CLOGGING and causing and ICE DAM overtop said main entryway ?!?! Also, Why is the first story Front-Gutter facing the side of the house, which empties back into my siding and down my foundation, when the architectural plans clearly indicate that the Front-Gutter is to empty onto the FRONT YARD, AWAY FROM MY FOUNDATION !!!
The simple fact is that Leaf Pro’s unprofessional installation of my gutters and downspouts goes against their own advertisements of Protecting Your Home From WATER DAMAGE, PREVENTS GUTTERS FROM FREEZING, Protects against ICE DAMMING and the 100% MONEY-BACK NO-CLOG GUARANTEE. As my gutters and downspouts have CLOGGED, I am demanding my MONEY-BACK as stated on the Agreement and as advertised a 100% MONEY-BACK NO-CLOG GUARANTEE. I don’t care why the GUTTERS CLOGGED. I don’t care if the gutters were improperly sloped, downspouts were put in the wrong place and could not hand the square footage of the roof causing CLOGGED GUTTERS, or CLOGGED with leaves, rodents and ice.

Our experience with this customer is wholly different than what he has portrayed in his claim.
It wasn't that the job took us three weeks because we had one person installing it. There is no job that ever takes us more than 2-3 days to complete. It took three weeks because he was outside directing every single step of the installation to the highest degree and did not allow our installer to do his job the way he was trained to do so.
What resulted from that was an install the way the customer demanded it to be installed. The customer had never installed our product, and had never consulted with us to install it. He simply would not let our installer breathe. No screw was screwed in without his exact direction, that is how involved he was from start to finish.
During the process of install, the customer cancelled his financing he had set up with us at the sale, and when he did that, we demanded that he re-open his financing for us to do any more work on his home.
The customer refused, and we told him we would not come back until he reopens his financing so that payment terms are re-established for all the work and headache he put us through.
We agree to write the job off for non-payment and move on. We will not be doing any additional work for the customer. He has received all labor and materials for free from us.

Because the response is so far from the truth. That's impressive if I was able to tell a whole crew how I wanted every screw nailed down. It's simply untrue. Leaf Pro had no communication between them except to keep raising the price for ridiculous reasons. Adding a double fascia which led to my gutters being clogged. Which activates their NO CLOG GUARENTEE. They didn't just write my job off. They couldn't because I am right.My experience with Leaf Pro Gutter is wholly different than what Leaf Pro has portrayed in their response or any message received about my claim of COMPLETELY CLOGGED GUTTERS. A lone installer arrived and rejected the job. So, a second lone installer arrived two weeks later, and in his first week he worked by himself for three days. The second week the second installer arrived, he worked by himself for two days. The third week a crew of the second installer, a salesman and an alleged but inexperienced roofer arrived, and the job was finally finished at night time on the third day. The pictures were taken at night, and I noticed that a few gutters were not verified by photograph. I was constantly harassed the next day and relayed that it was raining, so it was unsafe to verify the unphotographed gutters. Still my phone rang off the hook.
The salesman whom did the actual work assured me that the job was finished. So, when I climbed the ladder on the following day, there were entire sheets not screwed down, sheets were on top of one another and the gutters were so far away from the drip edge that it was clear to me that the job was NOT finished !!! Both banks thought the same, as I did when I sent in to them the pictures of the unfinished job. After the second installer came back to screw down the sheets and re-align the other sheets, it snowed for a couple days. I then noticed that the GUTTERS were COMPLETELY CLOGGED. There is a NO CLOG GUARANTEE in my signed contract.
Clearly there are serious communication breakdowns in the LEAF PRO GUTTER organization. The whole neighborhood can testify to the job taking 3 weeks. If the installer doesn’t wish for the customer to make sure he is doing his job, then follow the schematics or plans agreed to at signing. Every time I turned around LEAF PRO GUTTERS were trying to raise the price. Of course I am going to be observing and asking why I paid for 2 gutters and he is only installing ONE ! WHY WOULD YOU INSTALL A DOWNSPOUT OVERTOP OF AN ENTRYWAY OR DOOR ???
Even I know that with enough rain that the excess is going to cause a waterfall over top my DOOR ? The whole idea of removing and adding fascia was to make the gutter hang more secure. IF THE ORIGINAL FASCIA WAS THAT BAD THEN WHY WOULD THE INSTALLER FASTEN THE NEW FASCIA OVERTOP THE OLD FASCIA ??? Doesn’t that make the DRIP EDGE to far from the center of the gutter or gutter guard ??? So when the salesman guaranteed one thing and the installer allegedly guaranteed the exact opposite, I was even more than skeptical. I WENT WITH WHATEVER WAS IN WRITING !!! If the installer had a problem with what I may have “I demanded”, maybe he should have stuck to the plans or what was in writing. Why couldn’t the salesman and the installer be on the same page ???
As I am not a professional gutter installer, I cannot tell you exactly why all of my gutters clogged. Some say they weren’t sloped properly, not enough downspouts or any of a myriad of reasons. The salesman sold me one thing and the installers wanted to do something totally different. That is a communication problem inside of LEAF PRO GUTTERS ! You aren’t going to cut corners on my job to get some extra pocket money !! Yet every time I come inside, I would get a call from sales saying that the price must to go up. WHO EVER HEARD OF A DOUBLE FASCIA BOARD ??? I never want LEAF PRO GUTTERS to touch anything I own and would recommend the same to any of my friends and family from what they put me through.

I had hired Leaf Pro Gutters on 7/31/2022, Mr **** came out and took a look at my gutters and assured me their company could fix the problem and clean the gutters around my house. Leaf Pro gutters did not do the work that was promised. The gutter still leaks profusely when it rains, the end-cap (Miter) they replaced does not fit or seal correctly to the existing gutter. I have called Leaf Pro on several occasions letting them know i was not satisfied and the problem still existed. Leaf Pro sent two contractors out to my home saying they would correct this problem yet the problem still exists. I called them back after the second contractor came out and they wanted to send out a third contractor. At that point I told them No, I was not happy with the services that they provided and did not want them to continue sending their contractors out. I became so frustrated and this was causing me great anxiety. I have spoken with **** Travis ************** and Chris ************** from Leaf Pro several times. I have asked that they adjust the Fee Agreement to gutter cleaning. The work they promised was not done. They did not remove dents from my gutters, they did not realign my gutter and the Miter that they replaced is not the right fit my roof hangs over it. From the start neither contractor ever put a ladder up on the right side of my house, I question them on that and both contractor said they looked over there to the gutter and the gutters on that side were clean. These guys **** and Chris told me they would speak to upper management and get back to me. A guy named Nathaniel texted me and told me they would send someone out I have not heard back from Leaf Pro since. This is bad business practice they charged me for work they did not do and the work they did was done poorly. they would not accept this if it was done on their home. I went out to the ****** residence yesterday to solve the issues they were having. All the gutters were cleaned like we stated we would do, as well as sealed all the miters. The big issue was the miter we replaced. After further examination I noticed that someone before us tried to replace crown molding with 1x4 wood. This would be all right had they strapped the gutter to the roof. However, they installed this gutter with hidden hangers. In do so, this caused the gutter to be installed incorrectly and therefore have nothing to do with what we did. I replaced the miter and sealed it that it wouldn’t leak. I than sat down with the customers and explained to them whoever did this work on that gutter caused the issue. They understood and I presenting them with a partial refund, and we left on good terms.

I went out to the customers residence today November 17, 2022. This was the second time I had been out to service customer’s job. The first time she sent a video, and it was overpouring I noticed my installer left rags he used to clean the gutters inside the gutter. It ended up clogging the downspout elbow hence causing the overpour as water had nowhere to go. I removed these and that solved the issue. The customer than sent a video of the end cap and said it was leaking and worse than before. After further inspection today I noticed the end cap was sealed properly. There was, however, a section of the roof that was left with no gutter below it. Even though it was minuet I believe on a heavy rain ,water would still find a way to drip down that side and cause what would look like a leaking end cap. That section of gutter has 3 separate sections of the roof converging on a valley, so this is what I believed to be the issue. To resolve this issue, I moved the splash guard down towards the end and blocked off the part of the roof that was exposed. This will help facilitate the water into our protection and into the gutter. I believe this was not a case of improper installation nor, do I think it was because we didn’t seal the end cap properly. I think this was just a poor placement of the gutter which we did not do. I have included pictures to help better describe the issue. I spoke to the customer, and she is happy and wished us a happy holiday.

Leaf Pro Gutter Protection used false documentation and misleading statements to deceive me into agreeing to purchase their products & services. When John (who claimed to be an owner)& Eddie, a salesman came to my home on 06/07/22 to give an estimate they led me to believe that they had a special offer, with a top-rated company when in reality they were overcharging/inflating the prices and claiming sale. They used false documents and statements to mislead me that Leaf Pro is rated #1 in ******** ******** *** ** ****** and recommend #1 by *** **** * **** *** *****. Leaf Pro Gutter Protection has another very misleading chart in their sales pitch book that shows pricing on the national average price for gutter protection and also compares pricing with their competitors. I said that I wanted to think about it and would get back to them in a day or so, thinking the prices seemed high starting at $6500.00. My home is a single-story ranch. They estimated 125’ ft of gutter length and that seems about accurate. They were pushing me to agree that day stating that I would only receive the special offer of $4400.00 if I agree today. They also claimed that they would be saving me money because I would need to replace my gutters and they could extend the life of my existing gutters. I was worried about leaking and just cleaned, sealed, and repitched. With the money-back warranty, I would never have to worry about cleaning, leaking, or clogging. This could not be further from the truth. First, we would like to address the system we installed and its performance. We spoke multiple times to the homeowner who directly has told us that the system is working and the install went well. We held our end of the bargain up. Secondly, we would like to address the claims of fraud -- this could not be further from the truth. We compared our product to our competitors that are rated by *** ***** **** *** ******** ******** We are currently working to gain accreditation with the BBB. The words *** **** *** ******** ******* do not appear in our marketing material one time. The "misleading chart" was pulled directly from Cost vs Value ********, a nationally respected publication. I am sure she found a quote for cheaper, as I am sure she can find a more expensive quote. Our manufacturer has won multiple awards for this product and we have no problem accurately saying it is the #1 product on the market. The customer agreed to hire us and once we finished install she came back with these untrue claims and has harassed us continuously on multiple online forums. She wrote the deposit check to us, she did financing with us, signed the contract, signed the financing completion certificate to say that her expectations were met at the install --> THEN she decided to say we are frauds, after we delivered what we contractually agreed to do. This is incredibly untrue and damaging to the reputation we are working hard to build.
We will continue to answer the phone when she calls, and will continue to back our warranty regarding her install if she has any issues whatsoever. There will be no discounts given.
