I started seeing *** **** because I suffered from bunions for more than 20 years and I wanted to finally get them taken care of for my well-being and live pain free. *** **** recommended I have my right foot done first as it was the most severe plus she was going to fix my hammer toe also, which I didn't know I had but ok with. May 5, 2023 I had surgery, recovered and had frequent check ups with her. Started physical therapy but lasted 3 sessions because a bump formed on bottom of the foot and having horrific pain. Went to her ASAP and she took x-rays that showed the K Wire shifted and was trying to exit bottom of my foot, I'm aware of the risks and complications happen so she had me come back and in the office she numbed the area, beyond painful, removed it and stitched me up. I couldn't drive but went to work and wore a boot. I have huge scar and still hurts. Went in to remove stitches and get released for physical therapy again. She took x-rays and said that somehow my big toe had fractured completely in half, which was odd since I was in a boot or off of foot. She had to set it at next visit. Fast forward to telling me I had to have another surgery since K Wire moved and was removed and this time it was going to be a success and finally back on track, mind you I'm taking off of work for all of this and worried about losing my job. Went for surgery, she saw me right before and we laughed like we always did because she did have an awesome personality. After surgery she didn't come see me or my husband but got the discharge papers and to see her in 1 week. Discharge stated 48 hours no weight bearing than wear my boot, so I did. Saw her she took x-rays than looked right at me and asked if I put weight on my foot, I said I wore the boot after 48 hours as stated. Than she told me and my husband that the second K Wire moved and almost pushed through side of my foot and my bone under my big toe was completely crumbled, which she tried to say due to me smoking and she didn't know if she could save my foot. I had to be 10 weeks no weight bearing than she would perform surgery again! I have now lost my job, haven't walked or driven and saw her every week. Had an appointment on Jan 9, 2024 to get surgery date but day before was called by her office to cancel the appointment and that *** **** wouldn't be seeing any patients and they didn't know if she would again. No explanation. Tried calling the office next day to request my medical records and no answer, my husband drove to the office and no one there. Called every day for a week and nothing. She left me with a K Wire trying to exit my foot, my foot is worse than before originally surgery and haven't walked on it since November 3, 2023. Now unemployment because of this and in pain so horrific every day. She literally disappeared and has put me through 4 complications from a routine bunion surgery and my life has been turned upside down plus she has ruined my trust in anyone I see after this. I can't even get my medical records not only for me but the new podiatrist that was nice enough to take me as a patient without knowing anything she's really done to my foot so is going by blood work and a CT SCAN before he'll perform the surgery to remove second K Wire she put in and it shifted like the first one. That's where I am now is waiting on a surgery date and if there was any other damage from surgery or past procedures she performed.
