      Subject: Misleading Product Quality – Moen Georgene Kitchen Faucet I am submitting this review regarding my recent experience with the Moen Georgene Kitchen Faucet, which fell short of the quality expectations set by Moen’s branding and reputation. When purchasing this faucet, I relied on Moen’s longstanding reputation for durable, high-quality products. However, after installation, I discovered that the faucet is predominantly plastic—particularly the gooseneck and other structural components—resulting in a flimsy and unstable feel. The faucet rocks when in use, which raises concerns about its longevity. Moen customer support confirmed that their premium-grade faucets (models beginning with "S") are made with higher-quality materials. However, this distinction was not clearly indicated at the time of purchase, nor was it emphasized in their marketing. This lack of transparency led to a misleading purchasing experience. In response to my concerns, Moen offered only a discount code for future purchases rather than addressing the issue directly. While I understand that non-metallic materials are used to prevent corrosion, this does not justify the omission of clear material disclosures when advertising the product. I urge Moen to provide a premium replacement faucet or take corrective steps to ensure clearer product material transparency in its marketing and customer communications. It is important that consumers have accurate information about the products they are purchasing to avoid similar disappointments in the future.

      We do apologize for the experience the consumer has had with their Moen fixture. All Moen fixtures are manufactured using both metallic and non metallic components. The gooseneck spout used for this particular model would be stainless steel, not plastic. The non metallic components used in this model would be the washers, cartridge, spray wand, quick connections, deckplate gasket and pullout hose kit. Additionally, Moen fixtures are backed by a limited lifetime warranty for as long as the purchaser owns the product.

      I bought a shower head kit with separate handheld attachment. It has a lifetime warranty. The shower diverter broke. After sending numerous pictures they stated it was not a Moen part. I then resent clearer pictures showing the name Moen on everything. Finally, after many hours they sent me a brush nickel diverter, ( mine is all chrome) and the water pressure is horrible. Called again on 2/14/25, Their resolution dept stated it was not a Moen diverter and sent me the diverter as a courtesy. This is horrible service from a reputable company. Hours on the phone and they insist that it is not a Moen diverter. IT WAS A COMPLETE KIT FROM MOEN. I am frustrated and will never support that company again. Send me a new kit and maybe i will change my mind. Their resolution department has no common sense. Just reading off a scrit.

      We do apologize for the experience the consumer has had in obtaining warranty assistance. The model diverter that the consumer is requesting assistance with is actually a ******* *** ***** ********** NOT a Moen. The handshower and shower head are Moen fixtures but these components were not bundled as a set and would have had to be purchased separately. However, we would be more than happy to accommodate a replacement in the chrome finish. The comparable replacement will include a Moen handshower diverter.

      I want to thank BBB for getting involved. I received a new shower head / hose from Moen. This would not have happened if BBB did not get involved. Thank you for the speedy response. Moen did the correct action but it should not have come to this especially on a life time warranty. Please post this. Sincerely, **** *******

      I bought the sink faucet in May 2024 and installed in my new build house and by starting of the December 2024. It started leaking at the inside joint on top of faucet. i want Moen to send me new one as it's in the warranty period. And as a builder, i will not use Moen any longer.

      Moen faucet breaks the handle every few year And I have to replace it. Recently it did it again so they were suppose to send out another one on 7/9/24 and nothing came. Then after speaking with someone again they were suppose to send it on 7/24/24 and still nothing today 8/1/24. Tracking info on both does not evern register with USPS so nothing has been delivered to the post office thus far. Pathetic company with cheap parts that have to be replaced periodically.

      We do apologize for the experience the consumer has had with receiving their order. According to the USPS tracking the original order placed with us on 7/9/24 was delivered to the consumer on 8/2/2024. The reordered second package from 7/24/24 has not been shipped yet. We changed distribution centers at the beginning of july and are dealing with unexpected delays.

      Purchased a Moen kitchen faucet a few years back. Had a leak on the sprayer hose. Called Moen customer service , no wait on phone and spoke to Christina. I did not know the model number and with pics I sent. She identified the faucet. She was very helpful and very pleasant. Sending a replacement hose at no charge. Best warranty and customer service.

      Issue bad filter, after all test were made, and verified by assisting employee of Moen, determination was made filter was the problem with no water at faucet outlet. representative number one who is willing to send new filter kit $20 (two day)delivery or 7 to 10 days no charge, neither of which were acceptable. Representative #2 ( thinking outside the box) send a new filterkit no charge ,2 day or less delivery. My only alternative was to return the new Moen faucet to Amazon for full reimbursement and purchase a similar kitchen faucet. Which will arrive in less time than 7 to 10 days. representative number two, Britney, Realized my dilemma. Im married 85 and didn’t want to get under the sink on my back again. Thankfully, you have at least one employee thinking outside the box, save the sale of the Moen kitchen faucet and relieve me of a lot of pressure.       Moen has changed a lot from 10 years ago. Moen was the brand I have loved for years, until their quality went so far down hill. I will no longer purchase any Moen products, and will explain why. First, my 5 year old $250 Moen kitchen faucet is falling apart. It now needs to be replaced. Sad because I have purchased several of about that same model years ago that held up just fine. Something has changed with Moen. My new shower/tub 7 year old Moen valve just cost me a bunch of money to fix. I would have just replaced it with another brand but the valve’s guts are behind tile work. So Moen has me trapped in a money pit. The 1222 Moen valve insert of the shower failed, which cost $55 for the part at **** ****** Then the Moen insert puller was another $20. It took me hours to change it and the job was very hard. A plumber wanted $350 to replace it plus parts. Another Moen issue: The tub spout diverter valve has made a noise since it was installed. After removing it, I discovered Moen put the driverter valve rubber seat gasket (that you pull for a shower) in backwards at the factory. I read other people found the same manufacture defect issue. That fancy Moen 1222 “temperature control” valve will fail again in about 5 years. It is the way Moen designed it. The older Moen shower valves were great and last a long time. Something has changed with Moen, and it is their QUALITY! I just recommend that you pick a different brand. I wish I had, and I will select a different brand in all my future plumbing purchases!

      A big THANK YOU to Matthew H. in customer service. Within five minutes my problem was solved and my new sprayer was on its way. In less than three minutes I received email and my part was here in two days. That my friends is what I call customer service !! Buy it for looks.. Buy it for life..

      I'm a plumber and I been working with moen brand fixtures,the rough -in fauvet valve seems it changed and now it takes more time to install I always recomend the brand because I know that it is easy to install but with this new rough- in valve it doesnt safe me time i preffer the old one or recomend different brand

      Highly satisfied with all of Moen’s products. When they say the guarantee their products, they mean it ! I have contacted them, sent in pictures, in which they easily identified my products, sent out a replacements, was here within 2 days. Please note, my products were over 11 years old, and they sent out a new unit, no questions asked. I will never purchase any other brand.
