I went to visit this Aspen Dental location in Parma, OH for X-Rays and Dental Cleaning. Prior to my appointment, I spoked to a representative at this location a couple of times on the phone, as well as in-person minutes before my appointment, and I was assured I would not have to pay anything and insurance would cover everything. Nonetheless, I ended up getting a bill for X-Rays. I ended up paying the bill to avoid it going to collections and risk being sued and/or damaging my credit, but this incredibly dishonest move by this company. Furthermore, after my X-Rays were conducted and my teeth were briefly looked at, the dentist claimed I had an "infection" and when I met with the billing person here, this person said I had to pay over $1200 to get this "infection" treated before I had cleaning. When I asked this individual further questions, they seemed confused and giving me the runaround. I ended up walking out. About a month later, I went to another dentist to get a second opinion. The dentist said there were no serious issues and didn't say anything about an "infection" that existed in my teeth. They proceeded to due the dental cleaning. Unbelieve what a bunch of frauds these people at Aspen Dental are. I did some further research, and it turns out many individuals have encountered similar issues around the country. In Massachusetts, the Attorney General sued Aspen Dental for allegedly cheating thousands of Massachusetts consumers through a series of bait and switch advertising campaigns.
