My 2010 Chrysler 300. car was towed to Tony's Auto World on Thursday 12/14/23, listed in GWC repair shops. Worst mistake ever. I spoke to Walter the Service Manager; he instructed me to have it towed in don't drive it. Walter states mechanic took car for ride & it was the right caliper which did not have any bolts in it. Walter said my old caliper still looked good on the outside, also the car was now only going 20 to 30 mph on the freeway and the trans was leaking. He stated he would call warranty co. in the morning to see if warranty would cover the caliper. I had explained to Walter up front I did not have a lot of money $250.00 which my deductible would be only $100 & that have been because I have a severe sciatic nerve illness and also had fell, and the work I do unfortunately I don't get paid to be off work & getting paid weekly is very hard. On Friday, 02/15/23. Walter called said he spoke to GWC the warranty company man said the caliper was approved. Walter calls back again states GWC now said they will not warranty the caliper because it was replaced by Dealer Connection in 02/2023, Dealer Connection would have to warranty the caliper. I told Walter I needed to talk to my other mechanic. When speaking to Walter he said, "Let me see what I can do". At 4:00 p.m. Walter calls tells me I owe him $500.00 I told him Walter; "I DID NOT GIVE YOU ANY PERMISSION TO PERFORM ANY REPAIRS." you never asked me if I wanted to have the repairs done. Now it was down to $441.00 & if I did not have the money, I could not have my car. He held my car hostage the weekend, I pick my car up on 12/18/2023. Got in my car went to pulled off, car jerking when putting on brakes. I called Walter while on freeway asked Walter did, he know engine light was on and why my car was still doing what it was bought in for he said he was more worried about the caliper only. Walter did not let his mechanics even put the car up to thoroughly. He said bring it back so they can check it. TERRIBLE
