Date of the original transaction was around July 1st. I had a hard time getting a hold of the painter to confirm the date of completion. ACW was hired to paint the entire house and porch. They rushed through the job and left the house, sidewalks, windows and porch a mess. They did not power wash front porch, as my brother watched them and not once powerwashed the porch. They did not bother to scrape of old paint either. They were bragging about how fast they painted the house and porch in one coat. I had contacted them to clean up and repaint porch. They returned to powerwash the sidewalks only. Yesterday 7/25/22 Wendy came out and painted again over the cracked paint on porch. When I questioned her about this she stated "Not in contract" we do not have any signed contract yet we have already paid her $4300 towards this. Her worker entered our property, disconnected our washer to hook up the their hose for water pressure. He did not knock, he simplied entered the poperty, went down into the basement without letting my brother know he was there. When my brother seen this, he questioned the ACW worker, to which a disagreement followed by the worker threatening my brother with physical harm. The ACW worker kept telling my brother to come outside and fight. My brother is permanently disabled due to falling 20 ft from a bridge. He has been told he cannot withstand any other trauma to his head, so at this point my brother is not wanting to fight. When I question Wendy about this incident she blamed my brother and has been nothing but rude since. I have been as nice as I can be. I have contacted other painting companies in the area and all state the same thing as "the porch old paint should have been scraped off prior to painting". This is why we thought we were hiring professionals to do the job. We still owe $500 for a job that has only 1 coat of paint and a messy painted porch. We will need to hire another painter to do the job right. We need the $500 to pay another.Business response

**** *****, I greatly apologize that you were not happy with the paint job that we did. I wanted to remind you when we were sitting on the front porch and I asked if you wanted us to paint the porch also you said yes. We did say to you at that time that there was no way to get a baby butt smooth. You said just paint it it'll be fine. Your son left the side door unlocked for us and said we could come in anytime to use the restroom he left the light on for us. So when we went in the side door after already being told we could we never thought it to be a problem. They did ask your son to step outside so we could call you to make sure everything was okay. We did not brag about how long it took us to paint, the coworker and I was seeing who could get done first taping up Windows. He went down one side I went down another. He got done first. I want you to know that that front porch was pressured washed one day and when we came back the next we pressure washed the other side again because it didn't look good enough. So the porch was actually pressure washed twice I know I did it myself. nobody wanted to give your son any trouble we spoke to him several times and he said what a great job we were doing and how great the house looks. And as for the adapter we used we left it on the back porch just like we told your son. I am a little confused on this because **** ***** is the mother that I made the agreement with. This whole complaint is complaining about what happened to my brother so is this the sister that wrote this but put in mom's name? But you stated that this was Linda and you're his mother. So I'm a little confused on these statements. I have always treated my customers, like I would treat my own mom. And has far as not sanding your porch railing down, there was never an agreement to fix porch, just paint it. There was a small drip on window, where the plastic come off the corner, we came out and cleaned it. We also pressure washed the sidewalk where paint got on it when we pulled the plastic. When spraying a house it adds a thick layer it's like painting it two times over. Now any trim or trim around the windows it was hand rolled or brushed and it was done twice. The house looks great. I will upload a couple pictures so you all know what I am speaking of when I said we protected the items that shouldn't be painted on the house. Once again **** ***** I greatly appreciate you letting us paint your house. I am truly sorry for any miscommunication there was. I thought I got along just fine with your son he was very kind to me. My worker just could not understand him so he asked if he could come outside so he could call me. Thank you **** ***** for letting us paint your house. I am truly sorry for any problems that we had with your children. Thank youCustomer response

I am rejecting this response because: You are stating false claims. YOUR worker threatened **** *******, who is my brother. Your worker could have called you, myself or even my mother from outside, my disabled brother did not have to go outside for that. He was in fear that your worker wanted to fight him. This is terrible business practice to allow this behavior from your worker. OF COURSE he is going to tell you otherwise, its his job on the line and at that time he told **** "Come outside and fight me". Your worker also said "I don't care about this job I just want to be done". Yes **** did in fact hear your workers brag about this "We got this done quick" OBVIOUSLY it was done quick with the state you all left it in. You only came back to clean it AFTER I made the complaint. At that time I ask you to clean you up and your stated that you were offended at my complaints but you also stated you would 'Take care of it" Yes you finally cleaned the sidewalks but only painted over the same old paint. You told my mother when you met her that you would "take off old paint on patio" before you repainted it. It is OBVIOUS from the paint job you did that you did not. **** watched from inside the house, and though you powerwashed the house, the porch itself was not powerwashed. You also left paint dripping on windows to which you never cleaned at all. Huge paint drips on the house itself, and got paint all over the green carpet on the front porch. You nor your workers treated us like you would treat your mom, unless you threaten to fight your mom, get rude with her and make a mess at her house. The porch after you stated you had fixed the issue looked exactly the same. My brother **** said you could use the restroom, that did not mean to enter into the lower part of the house into the basement, disconnect the washing machine and hook up your hose to it. That is considered a home invasion. The restroom is literally on the same floor. Your worker had NO RIGHT to enter property to disconnect the washing machine AT ALL!! THEN threaten to fight my brother by saying "Come out here and fight me". Your company is unprofessional in every way! Now we have to hire painters to do the job the right way, the professional way, the way it should have been done to start with. The standard is at least 2 coats of paint, which you did not do, to scrape and powerwash, which you only powerwashed house and NOT the porch. I did fill this out in my mothers name as she requested I do so. I am both her property manager and have power of attorney. Not sure what your confusion is on that as you have been dealing with both myself and my mother.
Sincerely,
