      I found a listing on Zillow for an apartment I was interested in. The listing said you could request a tour and they would email you. The next morning I received a text instead of an email that said if I was still interested to call the number listed or click on the link to apply. An hour later I received a call from someone who sounded like he was calling from a call center in India. I told him I wanted to look at the unit after work today. He said they don’t schedule appointments, they only do open houses and they already had one for that unit. He offered to put me on a notification list if they had another open house, but he didn’t know when that would be. He said they could possibly rent the unit to someone else before that happens, so if I wanted to go ahead and pay a fee to apply, THEN they could let me see the unit. So, they only do open houses, but if I pay them money they will let me look at the unit?! And of course the application fee is not refundable! What a great way to scam people out of money!

      Thank you for sharing your experience with the listing on Zillow. Im sorry to hear about the frustrating process you encountered. I understand how this could feel like an unfair practice however due to the demand in our apartments our practice is to encourage applications to ensure the safety of all involved. Applications require us to screen and obtain information to best qualify someone for an apartment and to make sure our staff knows fully who they are meeting. It's important that rental processes are transparent and respectful of potential tenants' time and money. Your feedback is valuable and highlights an issue that could affect others as well.

      I recently moved into my home and let me just say.. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!! The application process was easy, ****** is the sweetest. My move in process was quick, communication was good. My home is beautiful inside and out. Monarch is a very good company to rent from!!!

      I haven't had no experience with them other than someone saying she worked for them and I stated my issue and she said they'd work with us so we filled out apps nov 20th me and husband both called couple days later said his was not done but it was then I called again few days after that and it was a id issue they couldn't verify identity had to send by email to a man that works in office then it was said I'd hear back before dec 5th which is today due to the help we have to pay for move in costs the funds expire today and guess what no reply no call no email and when I call I keep getting voice mail now I'm out the money for both apps and no place and now no help with move in cost a complete waste of time :(

      I paid my application fee to monarch multi family llc for a certain apt that was in a location that fitted my needs. They made it sound promising that I would be able to move in at the end of the month. After they reveiwed my app. I was informed that I did not make enough money to qualify (I bring home 3000.00 per month). So I immediately, as soon as I got that email called their office and asked if I added my husbands income if they would reconsider. The guy that answered the phone “****” said yes to go ahead and add him. So I immediately filled out another application with my husbands info and paid another 35.00 application fee. This was on a Thursday. Bright and early Friday morning they emailed me to inform me that someone else had paid the deposit for the apartment and it was no longer available! So I immediately called and asked for my husbands 35.00 app. fee to be returned. And they said no. They already new they had the apt rented out when they told me to add my husbands info. Now THEY REFUSE TO REFUND HIS APPLICATION FEE!!
