In the last two (2) months my last (4) appointments, were cancelled by Massage Envy due to a therapist's illness. In the era of Covid, I'm aware people get ill, but I have also paid for a service(s) I couldn't obtain. This week I visited my local office, to again reschedule my 8 prepaid visits. Continued staff illness, didn't allow me to reschedule. I asked if I could obtain a refund for those visits and was told NO. I asked if I should obtain facial products, in lieu of massages and again was told NO. The manager then asked me again, if she should help me and I repeated suggestions.The manager now states, she wouldn't speak since I was disruptive. I asked if I threatened her, used foul language to her or her associates or attempted to damage their surroundings. She said NO, so I asked what HER issue was. I was offered a 60 day period to use my current (8) visits. I requested a longer time period since my last for (4) visits were already canceled in the last (8) weeks. The manager extended my time to (6) months. I requested written confirmation and was told she didnt have to provide me one. I explained a written confirmation provided me a current balance of visits; in the event their computer system was down and unable to confirm my unused visits and was asked to pay again. I asked the manager for written confirmation, and she told she "didnt have to provide me one". I then completed my cancellation form and asked for a copy. Again, I was TOLD, she didn't have to give me one. Approximately 1 hour later, I received a voice mail from the District Manager of Massage Envy, stating since I had "threatened to steal products" from their store; I was now banned from Massage Envy until recently. Furthermore to slander my character as a good customer of fifteen (15) years is unheard of. I just wanted to obtain services or a refund for services not received for over (2) months.
