    I used Mountaineer construction company about 6 months ago to renovate my kitchen. They were very through. I love all the custom crown that they did with the cabinets that all match. stained perfect.

    Very unprofessional, horrible work ethic, takes way too long and does shoddy work. I’m only going to note some of the issues with the work he did for us. Our building is off square, gaps all over, holes where the screw missed the frame when putting the metal up. Some were left in so it looks like kids put screws everywhere. No tyvek was used. Patchwork all around the building from cuts with wrong measurements or do to the framing being off square. Owner said they did several retaining walls but the crew said it was their very first one and let me tell you it shows. Dang thing snakes and whoops. Messy cuts on block which makes the entire wall look horrible! Do your homework. Business names change.

    Untrustworthy, will make promises just to get your business. Unprofessional workers urinating in backyard. Owner of business charged for over $2300 in work he never did, per his workers. Told his staff if I didn’t ask about something on the estimate then don’t do it. Replaced roof and did inside repairs. Very sloppy work on roof, already had to come back to fix and roof is still leaking. The room inside looks worse now than before they started repairs. Did not clean up, left debris and paint all over floor, no protection used such as covering floor while painting. All his workers did was complain about not getting paid enough to do this work, which is why I’m sure it was sloppy work. Beware before you enter into any contract with this man. He takes shortcuts and does not do the right thing or care about the work he does.
