Last fall, we purchased a brand new, upgraded model of one of Appalachian Trailer's 20' enclosed sportier version utility trailers. Not a cheap purchase. For some reason, there was one wheel missing when we were shown it at the dealership, but it was the model we wanted. We had to come back to pick it up once the missing wheel had been put on. Not a big deal. We brought it home when it was ready and didn't use it until January when we took our Can Am and a friend's down to *******. My husband checked to make sure there was air in all the tires. You would have thought the lug nuts on a new trailer would be tight. Unfortunately, we lost an entire wheel/tire on the way down to ******* within 2 1/2 or so hours on the road. We had to buy a spare and lug nuts. The company would not cover the lost wheel, despite us having contacted them while we were still in ******* to let them know what happened. We even have a picture of the trailer at the truck stop where we discovered it missing. They would not pass my husband's call up to upper management when we returned to discuss this issue and he asked to speak to them. My husband's company also purchased two other trailers from them around the same time on his recommendation. Never again. Very poor service. I would NOT recommend this company.
