      I have banked with vacationland for an extended period of time now. Ive deposited checks that have never once been held, but rather instantly deposited. Ive also gotten student loans deposited into my account immediately. However, today, theyre deciding to hold my check for ***** because they have the right. I expressed that they have never held any check that *** deposited nor any funds. I went on to state that I have a bill due tomorrow and holding my money from me on a check from a LAW FIRM ( clearly not gonna bounce ) is ridiculous. She claimed she understood but really offered no other assistance outside she can attempt calling the opposing bank to confirm its a legit check. My issue is, again, theyve never withheld checks, nor have any ever bounced that Ive deposited. Ive also been with them for some time.

      VacationLand Federal Credit Union follows Regulation CC in regard to check holds as well as the Privacy Act to protect our members sensitive information. We utilize tools that allow us to make informed decisions on check deposits whether in person or through Remote Deposit Capture to protect our members and our institution. This check was on a 2-business day hold. The Chief Lending Officer made contact with this member, and both agreed to a resolution that in the end benefited our member.

    Vacationland Federal Credit Union is NOT a BBB Accredited Business.
