    Originally hired Certa Pro for interior house painting. They then subbed job out to **** ** **** ********. A job that was to be approx 5 to 8 days turned into a 2 and half months. Besides that after job finally complete noticed a loose toilet. A sidebar **** ** **** also hired to do flooring. I hired a separate contractor to check toilet. He removed and discovered a broken flange which prevented toilet being secured to floor. Contacted Certa Pro and **** ** **** for compensation for repair. Certa Pro said not in their contract to remove toilets not responsible. I stated back that they were hired to also remove wall paper. To remove wallpaper from behind toilets the toilets had to be removed and that they hired sub so there responsible. No comment. Sent same info and pictures to **** ** **** Painters no response what so ever. Just another note this company threaten to sue me because I with held money untill job was done to my satisfaction. I am still finding things done that are not satisfactory. Per Certa Pro I have a year for touch ups within reason emailed them with pictures no response. Had my nephew do work. At this time I would like compensation for toilet repair the rest I have no use for either company Thanks **** *****  Also this is the way they left my dryer vent and gas line. Vent is crushed and gas line linked.

    Good afternoon, I responded via email to Mr. ***** and apologized for what happened with his toilet. I explained that CertaPro does not remove the toilet to remove wallpaper but we would only remove the tank. Removal of toilet was not in the scope of work and if we have to remove a toilet tank we would put that in the proposal. Because he also contracted with one of our sub-contractors to have his LVP flooring installed they would have to remove the toilet to properly install the flooring. I offered to compensate Mr ***** for part of the toilet repair but not all. I also asked him to call me if he still has any concerns.

    I have to reiterate that we do not remove the toilet when removing wallpaper, we can do that by only removing the tank, not the whole toilet. The reason E2E removed the toilet was so they could do the flooring properly. That is part of your flooring contract with *** not your painting contract with CertaPro. However, I would be willing to pay for part of that cost with you as a gesture of good faith. I am sorry that you had an unpleasant experience with CertaPro. At CertaPro we strive to deliver a great experience and I would be willing to discuss this further with you.

    I had to start somewhere. I was being ignored by Jackie and ***. BBB recommended we start unfortunately with you. There reason was You were the main; E2E the sub. Wall paper removal was left flaked and hanging behind toilets. Very ugly. Only way to remove paper and paint surface was to remove toilet.  Not to half toilet. Your contractor agreed and assumed done but he ignored. Bugged him to complete. I understand flooring contractor who is *** had to remove toilets to place flooring. You would have thought they would of completed paper removal and painting then but didnt. We found out once my repair contractor removed toilet some paper removed with iffy paint job. To this day main bathroom never completed wallpaper still there. Vince I am beyond that now. Splitting the bill is fine with me. Good luck with Ed because I feel he is totally responsible. The money spent on this project I expected better. Bill isn't that much but being ignored by Jackie who in the beginning impressed me but once job was awarded to *** she disappeared. Didn't have grasp what was going on. I had to inform her status then she would try to follow up. Vince this house was empty painters had run of place. Thing is I had cameras throughout house. The smoke breaks and time wasted unbelievable. They even kept unplugging the router turning cameras off then wouldn't plug in when left for night security. Also I was told I would be left some extra paint for reference down road. I was left with unsealed cans, dried up paint, had roof leak needed ceiling paint none around texted Jackie asked any around and for some help stated she would look into. Never heard back. Also sent pictures for touch up never heard back. I had all that completed by someone else. The amount of people who came through house and asked about who I used my recommendations were not favorable. Thanks for your response to bring closer.
