    hello, I purchased a Cabelas Carnivore 3/4 hp meat grinder approximately 4-5 years ago. It has a 5 year warranty from Blue Sky innovation group. The grinder is leaking grease( at output shaft contaminating meat being ground) and making a ticking noise. I called Blue sky for a warranty repair, was told they could not find my info, needed my receipt . I looked but was unable to find it. So I said I would pay for repair as stated I could in my warranty ( see attached pictures). Warranty states : call blue sky to receive return authorization, I did, customer service rep was not much help said they would contact me back. very shortly received email from blue sky stating : Due to the issue you are having with the unit we will not be able to fix your unit. we do not have the required grease and parts your unit will need to be functional again. Warranty clearly states : for non warranty repairs blue sky charges a $35.00 per hour bench charge. please see attached pictures. I believe my grinder is still covered by warranty and even offered to pay for repair. So why is something clearly stated in my warranty not available to me. Are they claiming they do no repairs regardless of unit warranty status or age ? Or since I cannot find my reciept they are simply trying to get out of repairs or replacement. This was a $400 grinder and believe warranty should be honored or allowed to pay for repair as stated in my warranty. I called Cabelas customer service and was advised to file a complaint with the Better Business bureau of Ohio

    The first time I used my meat slicer, the motor sounded like it was going to quit and the slicer blade was struggling to spin. I sent it to Blue Sky Innovation Group and they told me nothing is wrong with it and can not find any issue, I want my slicer back. This is the first time I ever shopped at Cabelas and I get a junk product. lesson learned. I understand the terms of the warranty company and why they were so insistant with their waiver and cost if they found nothing wrong, or it was dirty, or damaged in shipping...... Just a scam to charge for the shipping and or keep it to resell? I am a Master Plumber and Journeyman HVAC Tech. and I feel very comfortable diagnosing failed equipment, wich I do all the time. I will pay what the return shipping is and their B.S. diagnostic fee as to keep them from stealing my slicer.
