    Damage done to my car due to Helman Body Shop putting a damage cruise control part back on the car causeing the touch screen system to go out. See Attached

    The condition that Mr. ******** has with his touch screen is in no way related to the accident or our work involved on the vehicle.

    These systems have vast documentation of similar issues arising from normal use and not related in any way to impacts or the required repair operations.

    His insurance company has also informed Mr. ******* of this fact.

    I had taken my car to Hellman Brothers Body Shop as a result they fixed the front end of the car, but the cruise control was broken. When the shop called me and said the car was ready for me to pick it up. I went and picked it up *** ******* told me that the cruise control part did not come in and they had put the damage part back on it, but for me to be careful I drove the car and the cruise control came up on the information system and knocked my touch screen system out. I call *** immediately and told him what happen he told me they would fix it when the cruise control part came in. 

    After the cruise control part came in they did not fix it. After waiting until December 14, 2021 I confronted *** and asked him if a dealership had looked at it and he said yes, but that was not truthful. My insurance paid the body shop for the damage the accident cause, this matter was not the insurance responsibility.

It was also not related to him using his vehicle with damaged components while waiting for parts to do the repair.     I'm writing in response to the letter I received with *** ****** comments on my complaint ID ********. My complaint states that the damage done to my touch screen radio was result of the damage part that Helman Brother Body Shop put back on my car. I reported the damage to the Radio at the time to *** ****** and he told me he would fix it when the new cruise control part came in and he has not fix my car as of this date.
