    I went to James Flooring on May18/22. I bought a house in April of same year. I ordered carpet and vinyl from this place, told them I didn’t know when I would have it installed,******* said that’s ok, just call when you are ready. I asked ******* if it was special order, he said no, it’s in stock, both vinyl and carpet. I had a lot of work to be done on the house. Very long story short, I kept finding things wrong with the house, it would be too much money for me to do it. So put the house up for sale it took quite a while to sell it. Went to James Flooring on January 16th to ask for the $5,000.00 down I had to give him . He refused to give me any of my money back, called me ridiculous, said the carpet was special order, it was not, in general was treated very rude, plus was insulted! I told him he could sell that carpet, he wouldn’t be out anything. He absolutely refused to even listen or deal with me! I am going to also take my receipt to my attorney, and see what can be done about this unethical way to do business!! I told him when I left the store I was going to take it to my attorney, he threw his hands up said go ahead!! Arrogant!

    We ordered special order carpet and sheet vinyl for Ms.******** in May. It is noted on the attached invoice that it is order carpet and order vinyl. The material has been in our warehouse for 6 months. We only received $5000 for a down payment and the total of the special order materials is $7122.61. Ms. ******** can use the materials in whatever house she resides in now after paying for the materials but we cannot return them to the manufacturer because it has been too long after they were received. Ms. ******** came into the store earlier this month and after the normal pleasantries she became irate when she didn't receive the answer she wanted. I listened to her situation and advised her under no circumstances can we return the carpet or vinyl to the mill so we will not refund any money. I sincerely hope Ms. ******** contacts her attorney so that they can advise her to take the carpet and vinyl she asked us to special order for her and that it is unreasonable to expect otherwise.

    I am rejecting this response because:
    James Flooring is not telling the truth, he told me the carpet and vinyl were in stock! All I asked for was to be treated fairly, ******* was very rude and arrogant towards me! I have a witness to the way he treated me, she said she would testify as to his rude, disrespectful way he treated me. No way was this order a special order! I asked him where on the recipe it states special order, and he pointed to the word carpet!! Honestly!! How disappointing they choose to not be honest! I am taking this to my attorney.
