  Hired to put in paver sidewalk. Did not stick to what we had agreed upon in the contract. Left 2 inexperienced workers to do the job unsupervised while owner flew to ********** on first day of them starting job. The workers had no idea what they were doing so we stopped the job the second day. The escavating was done completely wrong and has to be redone, they moved our landscape rock that we never approved of doing and can’t be moved back unless yard is torn up, if left to continue, the sidewalk would not have even lined up to our front door. She changed the design we had agreed upon in contract because all of a sudden it couldn’t be done. When she knew we were about to fire her, she changed it back. She had lied to cut corners The owner of the company has given me the run around as we want part of our deposit back. She is now refusing to answer texts. Based on several reviews, she has several unhappy clients complaining about the same thing she has done to us.

  We hired ARJ in November of 2020 to complete a large project at our home. They guaranteed the job would be done by Memorial Day 2021. They asked to work on the job through the winter as this would help them keep their employees working. They assured us it was ok to do patio work in the winter. They said they would bring tents and heaters to cover the areas they were working. We agreed. The work began and so did the nightmare of working with this company. They only had 2 workers on our job. One of which that had never done this type of work before. They left them alone with no supervision or guidance. The project became a constant string of problems. They put in fixtures incorrectly. Many mistakes along the way. Too many to even count. From incorrectly installed light fixtures (which I still don’t know how to correctly use because they refused to show me), broken water feature that they tried to repair and hide, incorrectly measured walls, uneven steps (dangerous), incorrectly installed fire feature (per an independent inspection) and not finishing the job!!! They refused to complete the job. The owner even got into a verbal screaming match with me and threatened me. I have had to hire other contractors to finish the job and fix their mistakes. ARJ placed a lien on my property saying I still owe them money for an incomplete job. This is absolutely the worst company/contractor I have ever dealt with. Their lack of professionalism, supervision of work and lack of knowledge of multiple features of my project they claimed to be experts on is appalling! I am still spending money and time fixing the mess they created! Much of the work, they cut corners to cost them less while charging me MORE! I can provide supporting documentation if needed.
