Reluctantly bought 2013 Ford Edge, low miles..days into transaction, electric drivers seat stopped working. Under 30 day warranty, they sent it to DW auto shop, fixed. Asked for engine to be assessed, smelled like gas and oil. Asked what the problem was, no one would tell me, said nothing was wrong with engine. Second time, weeks later same issue, Tireman resolved seat, asked for receipt, replaced fuse. Third time, Belle Tire, replaced fuse. Still oil gas exhaust, personally PAID Ford dealer 214.00 for assessment. Torque converter bad. Told DWAC and Spencer replied with an attitude "well how do you know that?" Ford dealer receipt to confirm. Dropped of at Earl Brothers and they claimed used torque converter was installed, took over three weeks. Faulty torque converter, took it back. NO ONE would loan courtesy car and expects me to drop off, for God knows how long, with no transportation to get to work.Transmission now jerks which indicates transmission failing. Replaced elec seat fuse three more times myself. Now needs ball joints and calipers. Mind you, has 92,000 miles. Obtained lawyer, didn't honor warranty, was never offered extended at dealer and Earl brothers the same, drop off with no courtesy car with no time frame for repair. New seat motor should have been installed, wires short out and they knew it. Faulty torque led to transmission failing. Recommend buying elsewhere to avoid others from investing in money pit. Have called SEVERAL times to speak with Tim (GM) says he'll look into it, never calls back. Two words, VOLUNTARY REPO or Find On Road Dead
