    My wife visited the emergency room on March 21,2021. On March 25,2021 a rep. from St.Annes called and offered a discount if we paid the estimated cost of our portion of the bill. I agreed to do that and paid with ****. The discounted price was $504. When I got my EOB from the ins. co. I found that the actual cost for me was $340.50. I contacted St.Annes and they refunded the overpayment. Months later they started billing us for this same ER visit. They are billing us $546.08. I have called and talked to them many times and at first they agreed that we had paid the bill. The billing still continues. The last time I called them they told me that **** had taken back the money from this charge. I did not dispute the original charge with **** so I do not believe they took back any money, much less that they took back more than was originally charged. I have contacted **** and they do not have a record of reclaiming the funds. I still have my statements from **** showing the charge and all other statements that do not show any credits. **** said they sent a request for information to St.Annes and got no reply. St Annes should have a record of the transaction where the funds were reclaimed, but has not provided it. I contend that I have already paid this bill unless St. Annes can show verifiable proof that the funds were reclaimed from my account. I believe they have mixed up our account with someone else. I do not find it credible that **** would reclaim more money than was originally charged.
