We had a covering put over our patio about a year ago. We have had problems with leaking, over flow we have water damage I cant sit under part of it or I will get leaked on. Water inside. There are more and more leaks. We have been in contact with the owner. But we aren't getting any answers or return calls. We have pictures and videos of the leaks. He has been paid in full and says things are under warranty. In reality it hasn't been done right since day one. Continues to tell us how busy they are. I should be able to get this work done in a timely manner.I paid for a product and work that has not been up to their standards. Nor mine.Business response

In March 2019, I contacted Ohio Roofing because a window in the addition they built in 2009 onto our house needed to be replace. The windows are guaranteed for life and the seal had broken for the third. The first time for this particular replace, the window did not fit. The next time, the installer broke the replacement window. Each time, I had to call to see when they were coming to bring the replacement. Now, I have been trying for over a year to get someone to come out to replace the window. I have been informed they have the replacement window. Each time I am told they will have someone call to set up an appointment. On November 18, 2020, we called and told them we wanted to wait to have the replacement installed because of COVID. In the spring of 2021, I called to tell them we were ready to have someone come out. No One Calls. On June 13, 2022, I called again. I was told the office manager would call me back. I asked to have a message left if I wasn't home. No phone call, no message. I also check my phone every day to see if the company has tried to call. NO they have not. I feel we have been very patient. Three years is a very unreasonable amount of time to wait for a the window they have had for over a year or longer! Also, it is very poor business not to return a customer's call.Business response

Apologies for the lack of communication. There has been attempts to correct the window with the seal failure, unfortunately not positive outcomes. The installer has notified me that a new window was ordered and will have to be scheduled with our carpenter. At this time, we are experiencing transitions in our work force dealing with less staff to take care of the service calls. I will contact the customer to convey this difficulty with a service date in the near future.

Hired Ohio Roofing and Siding Co. April, 2021 to replace windows and install a new roof. **** *** was the main salesperson/owner we dealt with when there were issues. Work on the roof did not commence until June 4, 2021. The roofers they contracted did not construct the roof returns at the proper angle. Now all corners of the house are 3 inches or more, shy of the soffit at rake. Exposing raw wood and trusses to the elements, animals and insects. This was addressed with the company numerous times, we have phone records, txts, pictures and instead of getting those roof-returns fixed properly by roofers, they sent out their siding department who then folded and screwed flashing to cover some of the exposures. In December, we had a wind storm that took down a 7 foot piece of flashing they screwed in. Called the company and they picked up the flashing and never came back to fix. The shingles on the north facing part of our roof was not staggered and there are huge discrepancies in coloration. all the lighter shingles were nailed next to each other. The North facing roof needs to be re-shingled and all roof returns at corners need to be reconstructed. **** *** makes promises to send someone out but never does. We think the company is trying to bide time until the warranty is up. Very unprofessional and literally destroying the integrity of our home.Business response

A claim with the shingle manufacturer will be reported. Note, this is the 1st notice from customer.
There is a process and the customer will be notified.
The other issue was to be scheduled as soon as a crew was available

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is half satisfactory. As long as the returns are properly repaired with soffits at rake in all corners. We wanted a roof repaired, not a roof left with damages for almost a year! My husband will be handling this matter from here on out.
