Aug 13th Lawn Plus say they applied something to my yard that was not ordered by me and after me calling them and telling them I did not ordered it and wanted it credited off they immediately turned me over to a collection agency. i have sent the collection agency a letter which is shown in my documentation and requested again to not bill me or try to collect. As it is not warranted. Now they are sending more letters saying to send them basically the same info I already sent them. I do not want this blemish on my credit report, but feel I am being harassed to pay something was not ordered by me. Also attached is USPS receipt of my letter to the collection agency.

Typically all services are auto-renewing, however after further investigation, it appears this was supposed to be a one-time treatment and apologize for not catching that sooner. We have since contacted our collections agency and let them know it was placed in error and will be removed from collections/credit report at their earliest convenience.

Timeline and events / evidence as follows. - A bid was solicited from you / your company on 8/29/2023 for a service to perform an industry standard heat treatment for a bed bug infestation at *** ******* **** ********* *** *****. Your opinion was also requested i.e. if you would advise keeping or replacing furniture. - You / your organization placed a bid of $1,200 + tax for the aforementioned service. You also advised replacing furniture. - Your organization was selected among other similarly priced bids, all for entire-unit heat treatments, among competitors to perform the service due to your next-day availability. - Upon arrival, you did not perform the heat treat services that were agreed on. If you had, you would have brought industry-grade heating devices into the premises, heated the principal room of concern of the unit to over 118 degrees F for at least 90 minutes. You then would have performed the same process in all other areas of the house, with a total time on site of approximately 5+ hours. - Instead, once granted access, you were on site for approximately one hour. You simply sprayed some "unknown chemicals" in the unit, and then left. - After you left the unit, I personally called you and told you to return to perform the heat treatment job you were contracted for. You declined. Given that "Bed Bug Treatment" Chemicals can be bought online for as little as $20 - and that other service providers offer specific spraying services for a fraction of the price of a heat treatment (~$300) - it is clear to me, and I believe it will be incredibly clear to my credit card issuer and / or legal and judicial authorities if escalation is required, that you are acting with INTENT TO DEFRAUD

On 8/29 @ 1:57 pm, I received a frantic phone call from **** ******** inquiring about a Bed Bug service for an Airbnb property at *** ******* **** ** ********* **** *****, where there were "more than 200 bed bugs". He said that he had received other quotes and wondered what we charged. I told him $1200.00+tax and he mentioned that the previous companies were $1950.00. {I never once mentioned about us performing heat treatment for our solution. We don't even provide that service, nor have we ever. It's not even on our website and the words of "heat treatment" never came out of my mouth, nor do we do contracts for any of our services.} He said that he wanted to reach out to the property owner and see what he wanted to do. I mentioned that we do require 50% down before any service is done. He called back at 3:16 pm and paid the 50% down to get the service scheduled. With it being an Airbnb and them needing to get it rented out again as quickly as possible, I switched some things around on our end in order to get them scheduled the following morning. At 4:42 pm that same day, **** text me stating that "he may have overshot on the number of them" and that there were "only 30-40".

****** ***** (Assistant Pest control manager) and I arrive the following morning to perform the service (aerosol, dust and liquid barrier treatment). **** lets us into the apartment using the back door. Inside the apartment, by the end table beside the stairs, **** asks me, in front of ******..."So, you guys don't do heat treatment''? I respond, "No. There's no need for it. The chemistry we use is very effective and we don't do that method". He had no rebuttals. He let us begin to do the service and then he left the apartment. If he had an issue w/ us not using heat treatment, why didn't he tell us not to perform the service?

The products we used...********* *** ********* is considered the "gold standard" and is used across the Pest Control industry and is very effective. The science and data backs it up. The main thing about our method is that there's a residual for up to 90 days, whereas a heat treatment, there is none.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

All this response from the business displays is the fraudlent nature of their practices.

Lie after lie, ZERO contracts, ZERO items in writing.

A Heat Treatment service was solicited and agreed by the organization. They didn't perform the service as agreed. All of the evidence and narrative is in the attached email thread wherein I inform them of their intent to defraud and demand for funds to be returned.

Hence, the response is rejected, demand remains, and I will relentlessly continue to escalate the matter.

    Sincerely,

    ***** **********
