      Will kept adding crystal ***** not pellets, to my softener on top of the salt bridge that was already formed. I was without soft water for months. Then he told me I needed a new softener. I hired a different plumber, who couldn't take the old softener up my basement stairs because it was too heavy with salt. Now I'm spending hours chipping away at a solid block of salt so the softener can be removed.Since I hadn't had soft water for months and only had service for part of the year, I asked for a partial refund of my yearly fee. At first, the owner said yes, but he hasn't responded to further texts. I paid for a service I didn't receive, plus now I am faced with hours of chipping away at stone-hard salt inside a large softener.
