      Dear ******** ****:

United Consumer Financial Services (“UCFS”) received your complaint through the Better Business
      Bureau.

UCFS previously addressed your complaint regarding the tax resolution services you purchased from Tax
Relief Advocates (“TRA”) several months ago. Please see the enclosed copy of the letter sent to you
which explains that UCFS contracts with independent third-party merchants to purchase consumer
contracts from merchants that sell products or services. TRA like other merchants that UCFS works with,
is not an agent, legal representative, or corporate affiliate of UCFS. UCFS does not provide tax resolution
      services.

As previously stated, UCFS contacted TRA regarding your claim that you cancelled the Service
Agreement between you and TRA. According to TRA, you were not eligible to cancel your Service
Agreement with TRA and TRA had been in contact with you to discuss the matter. TRA also provided
UCFS with details of the work performed on your tax resolution case along with communications they
had with you regarding your tax case.

As indicated in the enclosed letter, UCFS offered to re-evaluate should additional information be
provided for further review. To date, no additional information has been provided to support TRA
cancelled their Service Agreement with you and/or had not provided the agreed upon services.
If you have any further questions concerning this matter or additional information you would like UCFS to
review, please contact our Compliance Department at [email protected].

      Sincerely,
      UCFS Compliance Department

United Consumer Financial Services (“UCFS”) received your complaint filed with the Better Business
Bureau. Thank you for the opportunity to respond to your concerns.

UCFS contracts with independent third-party merchants to purchase consumer contracts from merchants
that sell products or services. UCFS then holds the consumer’s retail installment contract and services the
debt used to purchase the product or service. Tax Defense Network, LLC (“TDN”) is one independent

UCFS contacted TDN regarding your complaint; the merchant agreed to cancel the original contract
between them and you. Accordingly, UCFS is also closing your account ending in 388 as a result of the
cancelation and you are wholly released from the above obligation to UCFS. This action includes notifying

I am reporting on United Consumer Financial Services (UCFS) regarding their reporting practices on my credit report. Account Opened: October 2018 Purpose: Funding for a Kirby Cleaning System Account Paid Off: January 2020 I have been in good faith communication with UCFS, requesting that they cease reporting negative items on my credit report and ideally remove the account altogether. My efforts to resolve this issue with UCFS have been ongoing and have included multiple attempts to explain the circumstances and seek a fair resolution. Circumstances of Missed Payments: As a **** veteran, I was deployed shortly after acquiring the cleaning system. During my deployment, my credit card information was compromised, leading to unauthorized transactions and subsequent missed payments on my UCFS account. I promptly communicated these issues to UCFS, seeking their assistance in rectifying the missed payments due to the compromised credit card. Despite my efforts to communicate the situation and resolve the issue, UCFS was uncooperative in addressing the compromised credit card situation and did not provide assistance to correct the missed payments. Now that the account has been fully paid off and closed, the negative reporting continues to impact my credit score adversely, affecting my ability to purchase a new home. Given the account is closed and the balance has been paid in full since January 2020, I respectfully request UCFS to remove the account from my credit report. This negative reporting continues to harm my credit standing, and I believe it is unjust considering the circumstances surrounding the missed payments. As a veteran and responsible consumer, I believe that a fair resolution to this issue is warranted. I request that the Better Business Bureau assist in facilitating a resolution that involves the removal of this account from my credit report, helping to restore my credit standing and allowing me to proceed with my plans to purchase a new home.

Please review the attachment provided and it will be pretty self-explanatory as to what transpired into becoming a problem. In a nutshell, Timeshare Legal Assistant (a company which supposedly helps people break timeshare contracts) did not provide the services they promised, we advised them their services would not be used and would therefore not receive additional funds, they sold the "debtor's note" to United Financial Consumer Services, and now UFCS wants money for services not rendered and has caused a hardship on my credit scores due to late/no payment notices submitted. I want them to retract those notices and collect from Timeshare Legal Assistant if they want any money. Thank you very much for your assistance! ****** ******

      Dear ****** *******

United Consumer Financial Services (“UCFS”) received your complaint through the Better Business
Bureau. Thank you for the opportunity to respond to your concerns.

UCFS contracts with independent third-party merchants to purchase consumer contracts from merchants

According to our records, you signed a retail installment sales contract (the “Agreement”) for the
purchase of a timeshare relief on August 30,2022. The Agreement was between you and the
independent merchant who sold you the service. UCFS purchased the Agreement, thereby, indirectly
      financing this transaction.

UCFS contacted **** on your behalf regarding your dissatisfaction with the services you received with a
timeshare exit from Hilton and Wyndham along with your claim that no work or assistance was received
going on 2 years. According to **** ******, Director of Client Services at VOAC, you are successfully out of
both of your timeshares, which was your goal upon signing up with their company.

**** ****** provided additional information regarding the work performed on your Hilton and Wyndham
timeshares. She indicated that ******** *** handled your Hilton timeshare which was successfully
cancelled. A separate exit team handled your Wyndham timeshare case. According to **** ******, the
Wyndham case was successfully cancelled as well.

Although **** provided information regarding the services they provided, as a courtesy, UCFS decided
to close your account ending in 349 with a zero balance and you owe no further financial obligation to
UCFS. This action includes a credit reporting deletion.

United Consumer Financial has put a charge off on my account. I had received the product before the Covid 19 pandemic in which I contacted them in order to try to set up a better payment plan due to loss of certian funds. I even tried to pay a lump sum of money to stop them from placing any late details on my credit report in which they said they would not and would work with me. Only to find out that they were continuing to charge me the same thing and kept calling me repeatedly after I had already set up an agreement with another service representative. I honestly just want it off of my credit report at this point as calling them has become a complete hassle because I can either never get in touch with someone or im given the run around. Im even willing to work with them to pay off the remaining debt if that would help get it off of my credit report but im having a hard time even doing that. Ive had a very tough time with this company and just wish they would do right by their customers. I wish they would have kept their word when it was promised. Im getting absolutely nowhere with their customer service representatives. The account seemed to be reopend without my knowledge and another fee was added for some odd reason. I just want to be done with this company as it was an absolutely horrible experience

I originally called this company to get help paying back taxes. I was told they could help me by cutting what i owed in half and they would electronically take $127 a month to pay the IRS. A year in i get a letter from the irs saying I'm delinquent on my payment plan. Found out through the irs that they had not paid anything. Come to find out the fees were going to pay their attorneys ect. So i paid in over $1700 and now I've stopped payment on there automatic withdrawal with that said my credit score has plummeted. And its ruining my credit. So this is destroying my credit and my livelihood.

      Dear *** *********:

United Consumer Financial Services (“UCFS”) received your complaint through the Better Business
Bureau. Thank you for the opportunity to respond to your concerns.

UCFS contracts with independent third-party merchants to purchase consumer contracts from merchants
that sell products or services. UCFS then holds the consumer’s retail installment contract and services the
debt used to purchase the product or service. National Tax Advisory Services (“NTAS”) is one independent
merchant with which UCFS has a contractual relationship. NTAS like other merchants that UCFS works
with, is not an agent, legal representative, or corporate affiliate of UCFS.

On or about March 18, 2024, NTAS advised UCFS that they agreed to cancel the original contract between
them and you. Accordingly, UCFS has also closed your account as a result of the cancelation and you are
wholly released from the above obligation to UCFS. This action includes a credit reporting deletion.

UCFS maintains that it followed all applicable procedures in the opening and servicing of your account in
accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

If you have any further questions concerning this matter, please contact NTAS directly as UCFS no longer
holds or services the debt for the above named account. The merchant contact information on file with

******* This constitutes a grave breach of contract by ******* * ****, leading to extensive damages under the agreement made in December 2022. ******* pledged to diminish my IRS liability from $14k to $2-3k, requiring my $5k financial commitment through UCFS. However, over the past two years, ******* failed to fulfill its commitments, resulting in financial loss, credit damage, and immense stress. Despite remitting nearly $2k in consistent payments to UCFS, ******* has not rendered the promised services. The IRS rejected the Offer in Compromise due to ********* incompetence, unprofessionalism, and misguided financial advice. ********* unprofessional conduct is apparent in frequent representative changes, redundant paperwork requests, and misleading advice. The lack of consistency and disrespectful behavior, including a representative managing my case while cooking, are unacceptable. ********* use of UCFS as a third-party for payments seems an attempt to evade accountability, raising ethical concerns and implying a strategy to shirk responsibility for unfulfilled services. Despite legitimate concerns, ******* and UCFS refused to disclose legal representation information, casting doubt on transparency and legality. The IRS no longer offers an OIC, eliminating the promised resolution. ******* is solely attempting to reduce my liability based on income, a task I could have undertaken independently without the need for their services and the accompanying $5k loan. I asked UCFS & ******* to suspend payments until resolution is achieved, but I was denied. I demand either a refund of payments made or a temporary suspension of payments to UCFS until a satisfactory resolution is reached. Additionally, I insist on the immediate reversal of any adverse credit reporting resulting from this situation. These actions are crucial to rectify the harm caused and provide a fair resolution. I expect swift attention to these requests to prevent further legal action.
