      On 9/6/22, I hired Two Men And Atruck to move me from Parma Hts to My storage, with a small amount onto my new place of residence. They destroyed almost everything they touched. They took my power recliner apart into three pieces, and misplaced the electric parts needed to work. When I purchased it, two men brought it to me in one piece and plugged in two little pieces. I have been in so much pain with degenerative disk and neuropathy because of this, I will be forced to seek legal advice if I don’t hear from them very soon. They also took apart my couch and my bed; I have no idea where they put those pieces. They did not ask me if they could. They did not bring my kitchen table; I’ll have ti buy a new one. These were three very young men saying ‘ let’s go, she won’t pay us’ ( which I did, over $1100.00) , ‘the truck is full, etc. incredibly lazy. I used this company in 2008 and I did not have these problems.

      My name is **** ******** and I am the general manager for Two Men and a Truck Cleveland. ***** **** forwarded me this message because I was the manager directly dealing with ******* and our moving crew on the day of ********* move.

      My first contact with the crew during ********* move was about 30-40 min into the move. Our crew had already loaded most of the items that ******* had requested to be moved. The crew called to inform me that ******* was not packed and ready for her move and that she was now requesting that the crew move items that our company would not normally move (loose items not packed and sealed in a box). At this time, ******* became very angry and almost belligerent with the crew. I called ******* and I attempted to explain that we would only be able to move furniture items and boxes which had been packed and were sealed. ******* told me that's not what she wanted and told me "I'm not paying for this". At that time, I offered to have the crew return her belongings to her apartment and offered to refund her deposit. ******* then told me she needed to be out because she was being evicted. I asked ******* to explain to me what she wanted moved but that our movers had declined. ******* was unable to give me this information.

      I called the crew leader at this point and had him go back into the apartment so that he (the crew leader) could describe what still needed to be moved. The crew leader was attempting to tell me what needed to be moved when ******* started screaming at him in the background. Since I was on the phone, I could hear the screaming and I could hear our crew leader becoming distressed. I then instructed the crew leader to cancel the move and return her belongings to the apartment. We ended the call.

      After a few moments, the crew leader called me back and said a "caretaker" had arrived and informed us that what we had already loaded was sufficient and that they would pay for the services rendered. We did NOT move anything else out of the apartment and we were not instructed to move a kitchen table at that time.

      There were two drop off locations, one house and one Self Storage unit. We went to the self storage unit first, then the house.

      Once we arrived at the second drop off (house), the "caretaker", who apparently was also the homeowner of the house to which the items were moving, instructed our crew to LEAVE THE ITEMS OUTSIDE. The "caretaker" informed us that she would arrange to have them moved in by family / friends. There was not reassembly by us because of this and there was no noticeable damage to any of the furniture items when we left .

      The following day, ******* called us to report her electric reclining chair wasn't working. Our manager, **** ********* made arrangements with ******* to come out and assess the issue. Upon arriving at the house, no one answered the door. **** called ******* and ******* told **** that she couldn't physically answer the door to let him in. After a few moments of speaking to *******, the "caretaker" arrived home and was shocked to find **** there. The caretaker apologized to **** and seemed frustrated that ******* called us because the caretaker was assessing the chair issue on their own first. The "caretaker" told **** there was no need to stay, so **** left.

      ******* then left a voicemail the following day, now saying that her bed and chair were not put together and that we left her kitchen table behind. Again, there was no mention of the kitchen table or bed during the move or during first complaint phone call. There was also no mention of "destroyed" furniture.

      At this point, we will not be dealing with ******* anymore. It is my opinion that ******* may not be of the most stable mindset and the multiple phone calls and complaints with no resolution, despite our best efforts to resolve the issues presented,  are now costing us money in time and manpower. We would be willing to deal with the chair and bed issue IF someone other than ******* makes the appointment AND that person is present during the appointment.  Otherwise we will be unable to assist ******* any further. There is nothing we can do about the kitchen table since we never moved the item.

      Dear BBB;

      To start, that was the most insulting, libelous letter I’ve ever seen.

      I have no ‘caretaker’, threatening a woman in a wheelchair to just ‘walk out’ was just nasty. I could definitely say a thing or two in

      regards to the authors, mental health, butt I won’t waste my time.

      I would like to know why he sent three movers to a very small apartment. On top of me and my girlfriend, it was chaos. I was yelling, yes, because as they rudely ignored me when I asked why they were starting to take my furniture apart, I didn’t think they heard me.

      I was also very surprised a week later when my girlfriend did find the part to my chair. You would think if movers were to take furniture apart, they would keep track of the pieces. Not in the case of Two, now Three, men in a truck. Sounds like he was trying to pad my ****. He also decided I don’t need a kitchen table?

      The only way this is going to be settled is if we could come to an agreement on a monetary settlement. What he paid one of the movers, the price of a small kitchen table, and letting me have some confidence he can tell me where any important icees for my couch and bed.

      I feel I’m being too fair, I really think they went into this trying to take advantage of a disabled woman, but I’ll agree to it.

      thank you,

      ******* *****
