    Money was withdrawn from my account for a security deposit to hold a unit on 7/9/24 for $199.00 and on 7/3/24 for $50.00 for a background check for my 17 y/o daughter who is in college, but they never ran the check. I have called the leasing manager Erick several times and reached outed to the corporate office and no one has replied to me. I did not move in and was supposed to get my deposit back. They should not have taken the $50.00 for my daughter which the manager said they wouldn't because she was not staying with me and was under age. I sent a cancellation notice on July 18, 2024.

    I moved into my new apartment on May 1st 2024. It took 3/4 months to move in after signing my lease for the new apartment because they could not evict the last tenants until April/May. I had to advocate to get new appliances in my apartment. When I first move here in 2019 I was given brand new appliances for my apartment because the last ones were old and outdated. When I moved into my new apartment I did not ask for brand new appliances I just asked for the appliances I was already using because the new apartment appliances were dirty and out of date. Some didn’t work. They moved my refrigerator, stove, and ac unit from my old apartment to my new apartment. They will not replace my dishwasher even though the current one doesn’t work and is completely dirty. Instead of replacing like they said they would. I have been going back and forth for a month about a dishwasher. No one has come to see if it works but I was told it did work. It’s doesn’t, I can’t even get anyone to call me about, I’m constantly calling the leasing office. But I can’t make anyone do their job.

    Bathroom sink cracked on 5/26/2024 I requested maintenance that same day. On 5/30/2024 they “patched” up sink instead of replacing I will like a sink top replaced. I have requested on and off past few years regarding bathroom ceiling leaking They proceed to do another “patch” job. Patching up curling just made water travel further

    K&D posting an advertisement that floors 2-5 were leasing special and discounted due to construction being on going on the above floors and they weren't completed. When I checked a listing after my lease renewed, I saw apartments being listed at higher floors for less than my current rent, when I was under the impression of receiving lesser rent therefore the reason I rented it. When I inquired with the 55 building leasing management, they ignored my concerns and requests to show the advertisement or how I was "excluded" from the discounted rent other than "Rita said". There are 51 units entitled to discounted rent and approximately 10 received more than $100 off rent. The other 41 received nothing after that advertisement being blasted on their website and the higher units were not done to show in comparison.

    My daughter and I applied to cosign on an apartment. They never said if you have a mortgage you can not cosign, because otherwise neither one of us would have applied for the 2 bedroom apartment. We paid 2 times application fee and $199 in addition to hold specific apartment. They called me the next day that they were not sure if their own are allowed to someone to live there and cosign if they already owned mortgage I don't know why it made a difference but they say it might I was informed that you cannot do that. I have no problem if they told me that from the beginning but when I let me pay for an application fee if that's the case. It's the leasing departments that take no if you can do that or not and if not do not have you paid application fee if it cannot move forward I got to reimbursed for it $109 but not for it to application fees and I'm requesting that money back.

    Entered by BBB staff LO Consumer states when she first applied for ******** ******* she was at the top of the list. It has been 2 years. She feels like they are playing favoritism because she keeps being moved to the bottom of the list. She has tried contacting them about this and they keep telling her a manager will contact her but no one has.

    There are only 10 three bedroom units available in ******** ******.  Currently, there are 188 people on the waiting list.  Ms. ****** is #147 on that list.  The person that is next applied in November 2019.  This could be a long wait and there is nothing we can do to speed up this process.

    Reserve Square Apartments: The apartment W23M has not had airconditioning since June 10, 2023. The apartment is currently 86 degress and despite three complaints, the maintenance personnel are unwilling to fix the issue. It will be one month without airconditioning. No apology or compensation has been offereed. Additionally, the shared, public areas are increasingly unsanitary including a mattress in a hallway with bedbugs. The ask is: fix the airconditioning immediately and do not charge for June rent.

    October 13, 2022- the deposit of $199 was automatically withdrawn from my account. The Gates Mills Place in Mayfield Heights was suppose to have a studio apartment ready for me in a timely manner. I had explained my current apartment at that time had leaks and I had to move out soon as possible as it was affecting my health. I was told the apartment was instantly available until I did the walk through and noticed a couple things that had to be repaired. Though I never got a move- in date. When I was called in to do the final walk through, I was told I couldn't see the apartment as they were under staffed. I was not given a date after that either. Later after I decided to go with another apartment, I asked for a refund and the representative, Erick assured me that it will be taken care of. After multiple tries, he said it's not possible as the security deposit is refundable within 48 hours of filing the application. Yet my apartment was not even ready for a move-in at that time. I contacted the manager, Heather T***** and after waiting for a couple weeks. She last spoke to me back in December, I explained my situation and she said she had to check with maintenance regarding the repairs and would get back to me. After that I received no response. I then contacted the Regional Manager, Jeff T*****. Both had mentioned that they will look into my case but no one has returned my calls or emails.

    Afternoon I signed a lease 7/20/22 complained of roach infestation multiple times to ****** there is mold the roof leaks buckets have to be placed in the hallway today there is no running water. I spoke with the city of ******* in regards of the black mold no resolve appears the city of ******* has a personal relationship with ******* the leasing agent ************ My anxiety is so bad I have not stayed here due to fear of bugs crawling on me I my nose or ear. This property is inhabitable needs to be condemned.
