      On 4/20/2022 I picked up my 2019 VW Tiguan from Excalibur Auto Body after an accident repair. Upon delivery of my vehicle, I noticed several issues pertaining to the repair. These included headlights with water in them, multiple scratches that were not present before, a grill that was not property attached, a fender not even bolted in, leaking antifreeze, dirt all over the interior, and several safety features were not working. These safety features were the most concerning and should have been noticed upon inspection of the vehicle. At this time, the car had been with Excalibur from 2/11/2022 (The accident was on 2/4/2022). During this time I was lied to about delivery dates, items for the vehicle being on their premises when they were not, and accumulated $2,410.84 in rental expenses out of my own pocket, after insurance covered 1200 of this (I have since been reimbursed by the other driver's insurance company). Not to mention continue making payments on something I could not drive. After I picked up the vehicle, I decided to take it to a certified VW repair facility. After their inspection, which took another month, it was determined that the repairs done at Excalibur were unsafe, and therefore the car was deemed a total loss. Before the accident I was planning on purchasing this leased vehicle and had approximately 11K dollars in equity if I were to sell it outright. Due to insurance policies all of this equity went to the lessor, and I had to purchase a new vehicle with no reimbursement from Excalibur or insurance. After taking this up with an employee at this facility, I was told she would work with the owner for the reimbursement of the down payment on the new vehicle ($5K). Unfortunately they decided they would not reimburse me for the total amount, only half of that. When I spoke to the owner, he was extremely rude and refused to have a civilized conversation. I did receive 2500. The unsafe work I received is what worries me for others.

      Where do I start? They had my sons vehicle for 2.5 months. They had him bring his car in to see what parts needed to be ordered, took the vehicle apart so it was un drivable. Sat at the shop for over a month waiting on parts. Ordered the wrong bumper 3 times. Had my sons information on file yet always called me. I would tell them again and again to call him. Giving them his phone number. But every time the would call me they would say they never had his number. They gave us the run around for months. They called and told my son his vehicle was done and he went to pick it up only to find a white residue all over his black vehicle. So had to wait another 3 days. Something they should have seen and taken care of prior to calling him. Once finally completed, there are scratches is the paint where work was done. Grange was called several times and warned not to send their customers there. I will be doing a google review and calling the BBB regarding our experience. The receptionist gave false information and then tried to cover up her lies. This auto body shop is a joke! And I will tell everyone I know to be warned!!! My sons Alfa looks horrible but at this point we will never give them our business again and neither will our insurance company after I called and explained what they did and how they handled everything. Customer Service was Simply terrible. Rude, and very unprofessional!
