We hired this company to replace our siding on 2-2-21, due to covid they couldn't get the material to start until May 2021. Once they got everything in and started, the process went good and they finished in June of 2021. After completion and payment for their services I had noticed a couple of areas that needed attention. I had called the owner Jon and let him know and he told me he would get it taken care of. I would call every so often and leave a voicemail to see when they will be coming back and he would never answer or call back for that matter. This went on for about five months until my wife sent an email to him that finally got his attention. He then decided it was the best time to text both of us 11:00 pm to see if he could come out the next day. So he finally decides the only time they could come out and fix the issues was on Christmas eve of 2021. I wanted to get it done and there were other issues that had popped up during this 6 month time period. I let him know they could come out on that Christmas eve, but he needed to be there to look what was going on with the siding since. The siding on 3 sides had starting bubbling up, the owner Jon called it Oil Canning and it would need to be replaced to fix it and he would have to order the material again. After many phone calls and texts that he sometime would reply back to, they finally got two sides replaced in June 2022. When I got home and saw the two sides were done and asked if they were coming back the next day to finish he told me he didn't know there was an issue on that side, but did replace a few. Now that was back in June 2022 and now he won't even respond to my phone calls or texts. We have been very patient with this owner and hoping he would do the right thing, but he will not and doesn't care since he got his money. He was very easy to get ahold of during the first when they were doing the job, but after he got his money he's non existent. Could not upload photo.

Business Response /* (1000, 17, 2022/11/04) */ The issues with the siding is not from improper installation. I personally replaced four squares of siding to make sure there wasn't any installer errors. Austin said we didn't replace all the areas that had problems (when I was at the job no oil canning was visible after replacing 4sq) so ordered three more squares. After speaking with my supplier there is an issue with the siding and they will be contacting Mr. *** to take care of the issues they said it is a very slow process but they will be taking care of it and contacting Mr. ***. Consumer Response /* (3000, 19, 2022/11/07) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) First, I never said it was improper installation. Now with that being said, this is what I'm talking about. Jon never told me that the supplier would be contacting me to take care of this and to this date no one has ever contacted me. To me it is Jon's responsibility to deal with the supplier. How would I ever be able to hold the supplier accountable when I hired Jon's company to buy and install the material. I should not have to deal with the supplier, the business that I hired should. Business Response /* (4000, 24, 2022/12/14) */ I notified my supplier and gave them a sample of the siding with a batch number on it. They are in the process of approving the siding replacement from the manufacturer. They will be contacting you to verify we installed your siding and that you are the property owner. Someone will call you. They just said it's a slow process. Consumer Response /* (3000, 31, 2022/12/26) */ ***Document Attached*** Sorry for the delayed response, but this is not resolved and want the complaint to be on record for this contractor. I know we gave the contractor two months for his first response and then another month for his 2nd one. I know after I got the email that he has responded he did send me a text which I will try to upload, it shows that his delayed actions is now making me have to deal with manufacturer when this could have been avoided.
