      We have a broken pipe under our house. Was told over the phone the job would be $128 for the first hour and $64 for every 1/2 hour after that. Plumber did an inspection and informed us it would be $1300 for the first four hours of labor. That's $325 an hour. We got 4 other quotes from local plumbers, all of which quoted $20 to $30 dollars per hour. If they had told us that over the phone that their rate was $325 an hour, we would not have had them come out. If they didn't want the job, they could have just said so instead of inflating their estimate. We would like our $128 back seeing that the rate we were quoted on the phone was not what was quoted to us on site.

      I called Mullin Plumbing to request help for a foul odor periodically coming from our bathroom sinks. It was an occasional problem and not constant. That was the only problem, because otherwise the faucets, drains and sink stopers worked fine. **** came out to check things and did some work beneath the two sinks. Said the odor might be from a leak in one of the drain lines. Said he could check further but it would be an all day job and require tearing out some walls. Charged 325.24 for the visit. Later I lifted the stopper pull to close the sink drain and the whole rod came out. **** left it totally disconnected. The other sink pull was connected but didn't close completely. Keep in mind that both sinks worked just fine before Mullin Plumbing worked on them. I called to have them complete what they failed to do on the first visit and was charged an additional $202.88.. After **** left the second time, the only thing that changed is I am now $528.12 poorer. They seem friendly, but more importantly the are very greedy and charged me for shoddy work and/or work that was never done. Then when I called to have them correct their mistakes from the first visit they charged me yet again and still didn't solve my problem. I was swindled out of $528.12, nothing was resolved and I want a refund. I was better off before **** ever showed up. Please don't make the same mistake I made. If you value your time and money do NOT call Mullin Plumbing.

      I called the company to fix my home gas heater which is not heating enough, they told me that the service call is 128$ including the first half hour of work then 64 per hour then after but the technician when arrived told me the service call is 128 include the first 1/2 hr then 128 per hour. When I told him that it was told only 64,he answered per 1/2 hr.I did not expect it will take a long tme so I agreed. He cleaned the flame sensor as well as the thermocouple and it ran for a little time and turned off as before. He said he need to replace the pilot assembly and he has to go to the shop to get it since they do not carry parts in their truck anymore which took him more than 1/2 hour. He replaced it and the heater ran on the same problem. He told me the valve need to be replaced and can't do it today and will cost about 375$ and when I asked him are you sure this will fix the problem, he said No but this is the only part not replaced I am a customer with this company for several years and usually I paid them on site when they complete the job but this time I told him how I can pay for service was not done and I need to talk to your manager first. He seemed to me that he does not know the problem His service took slightly less than 2 hr total including his trip to the shop(actual time of work about one hour). I received invoice for service cost plus 2 hr additional work and the part cost(28$) for total of 412.67 for service not done I tried to solve this issue with the company and I called several time, first I explained to the one answered the call and told me that she will pass this information to the manager Eric and he will call me back by end of the day which was not happened. I called again and left a voice massage on his answer machine and again no reply. I called third time and I request his e-mail for better communication which was denied and left another voice massage on his answer machine with no reply till now. Do I have pay 412$ for service not done?!

      I scheduled Mullen to come fix some plumbing issues at my parents home while they were on vacation and my sister and I met him there. He called me to tell me he was on the way. I had to leave before he finished and gave my sister my CC info. After she paid I noticed he charged me for too much time as I knew exactly when he arrived, I called him and he told me the time started when he left his previous job. I called Mullen and ****** told me the time should start when he arrived at the home, that was a 30 min difference ($64). Also, he is supposed to show us his receipts for parts, which he did not. I have been calling Mullen every day for a week to get someone to pay me back and show me the parts receipts, NO ONE EVER RETURNS CALLS! I've talked to *****, ******, and left numerous messages for the plumbing manager ****. I'm sad because we have used them for 15 years for numerous projects and this is the absolute worst customer service I've ever seen. I filed a dispute on my credit card and my next step is to stop by the office. It's not that difficult to call me back and at least discuss the matter. I can prove from his call and also the time he charged my card he was not there as long as he said. I wonder if "Mr. Mullen" is aware of how poorly his company is going downhill. I'd like to be reimbursed. Thank you kindly for your help!
