I purchased a 30 x 40 shop from them and it is payed in full. When finishing up with the the trim we discovered that there wasnt enough rake trim or ridge cap to complete the build. I contacted them and after some un professional customer service the issue was not resolved. Therefore I left them a 2 star review and was called the next day and threatened to change it to 5 stars or my material wouldnt be made. I have contacted the owner and removed my review from ******* However they still want a good review in return for the materials needed to finish the job that has already been payed for.

    Business Response

This customer placed an order with a front counter salesman. The customer was provided the materials that he signed off on at the customer pick up. ***** claims that his trim is too short on his rake trim. The customer did not specify how he was going to connect the trim at the peak. If he would have communicated that to the salesman he would have been provided a longer trim or a peak box for the peak condition. Bare in mind ***** did not specify any of these conditions. Also bear in mind that he signed for the materials at the point of sale which means that he accepts the materials with the lengths spelled out on the invoice which all match. He would like for us to totally replace these parts at no cost to him. In no means is that fair to us to absorb that cost. We offered to provide peak boxes which is a minimum cost for him and he refused. I did review his ridge trim. That trim really needs a 6" overlap to help seal his ridge condition on his roof. We have communicated to one of his friends that we would replace one piece that is 2' ft longer to help give the overlap he would need to seal the roof. We are always fair in how we deal with our customers. Our track record and growth is proof of that fact that we care about our product and the service behind the sale. ***** needs to be reasonable in his requests and we can be of service.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me, if they make the material for the job I will pay for it as long as they dont require any reviews and notify me when it is ready to be picked up. I would gladly go get the added ridge cap and the two peak boxes and pay for them.

    Sincerely,
