I was originally seen at this office on 11/22/23 and paid $84.00 for my visit. I was asked to come back after 30 days for a follow up and the visit was scheduled for 1/19/23. I showed up to the Family *********** on 1/19/23 and was at the office for a total of about 5 minutes. I checked in and was immediately called back to set in the office and wait for the RN who I was working with. My vitals were not taken. Nothing was done prior to being placed in this office. I visited with ****************************************** for about 2-3 minutes - he just asked if the meds were working and stated he wanted to double the dosage and keep me going on the meds. I stopped by the front desk on my way out and asked what they needed from me. They checked my papers and stated I was good to go and to have a nice day. I assumed there was no charge due to the fact that I was not given a proper visit, no vitals taken, and was in the office for about 5 minutes in total. 2 months down the road I received a $125 bill in the mail from this company. I called the office and they stated I needed to call the billing department. I called billing and they stated I needed to call the main office. I called billing back again and they stated I left the facility without paying and that is why I am being charged at this time. Not only is the amount they are charging me above what I have paid for any previous visit (I have been in 2 other times seeing *************************** and paid for all 3 visits without issue. However, there was no mention of this $125. I was in the office for 5 minutes and would never have agreed to being charged that much for such a visit. I would have paid the ***** provided they were up front about it, but since they have accused me of being dishonest, damaged my credit causing me not to get a house I was applying for, and refused to communicate with me and explain how this can occur. This charge is $125 new patient visit which I am not a new patient. And the visit was a follow up.
