1 starPurchased a used car 2023 that has had problems from the start. Due to various issues (auto/start lights, misaligned door, bad door sensor, oil consumption issues, engine issues to name a few), I have not had access to the car for more than half a year total if that. Now the car needs an engine replacement after Kalidy charged me for rebuilding the engine. Now they say they do not do that kind of work on my car. I tried several times (not long after the purchase up until now) to contact the General Manager for help and am now not receiving responses. I have been trying to have faith Kalidy would do something to make this a good experience but they dont seem to want happy customers who could come back for another purchase or spread a good word about their experiences with them. Im just asking for help with this situation so I can get past this nightmare.Review fromKC C

1 starI took my mother to buy a new car because we found one we liked and for a good price, everything was okay until it came to the paperwork which we now have had to go back up there 3 times to have it fixed. The first time was to fix the information on all of the loan application because it had apparently gotten deleted after we had the car for a week. The second time was because of the loan paperwork again and the third and final time I will be back up there without a lawyer was because they had messed up the title so we can not get the tag for this car and have to wait another week. We are pretty much paying for a yard ornament and they obviously have no idea what they are doing.Review fromShawn P

1 starWe went to Kalidy Kia based on an internet price. After several hours of looking on the internet with the salesman next to us. I gave him the stock numbers, he would go get the car and the we would drive it. We found the car we wanted a the price was right in the internet. When we went inside to buy the car, the salesman and manager inform us that the price on internet is wrong and they can't sell us the car for that price. They said it was the website people put the wrong price and they couldn't get a hold of the website programmer to get it fixed, even though I had been looking at this price for a week. The car had some minor hail damage, which we are ok with, but no discount was offer for that either. The interesting part is they knew while we were shopping for the car the price was wrong and never mentioned it. They had several car with a dealership discount and rebates. When we went to buy it they would not honor the dealership discount. They only offered the rebates. A $5000 difference. I have snapshots of the website to show the false advertisement. We left and did not but the car. The salesman said he lost three customers that day for the same issue. But did not mention it until we were ready to purchase.Review fromPATRICIA C

1 starThe car I purchased came up with malfunction messages within less than 24 hrs and I was told it was unsafe to drive. I documented every contact with ***** ******, the ** and partner, and kept my credit union apprised of the situation. ****** refused to take the car back, and after waiting 6 months for the title, I told him the late fees on registration would cost almost as much as the car. And, here I was paying insurance on a car that was under someone else's name! I presented all my documentation to the director of my credit union and he said it would be taken care of within an hour (without the title they can't put a lien on it and they have the same problem with 6 other clients and Kalidy Kia). He called me back 30 minutes later and said return the car. Mr. ****** has been informed that your loan has been revoked. I haven't heard anything since then. I am now sending him a certified letter to refund my downpayment within 10 days. If he doesn't, I will be forwarding everything to the **** of Motor Vehicles who will assign an investigator and the *************************. They are not listed with the BBB and he will not document anything so I have saved all my texts with him.Review fromZander C

1 starI would highly recommend taking your business anywhere other than Kalidy Kia.I went to Kalidy Kia on Saturday 07/06/24 to look at a 2022 Tesla ************ Range. My salesman, ********, agreed to a final sales price prior to my arrival. I did not do any paperwork on Saturday due to the car having a faulty camera on the driver side. I was told that the car would be repaired and ready for sale on Monday. I returned to Kalidy on Monday 07/08/24 to look at the vehicle, with intent to purchase.Upon arriving to the lot the vehicle was still in the same condition as it was when I left Saturday. Once we sat down and started to go over the final numbers with the salesman he put down three papers with three different sales prices. I did not understand what was going to happen and how the vehicle was legally going to qualify for the used EV tax credit but he assured me that they do it all the time and that nothing will come back on you. This did not sit well with me, so I went to leave and he asked me to wait for him to get his manager. Once he came back with a finance manager the finance manager tried explaining their numbers to me. The finance manager had gotten a completely different number than the salesman and sales managers previous numbers. They pulled my credit EIGHT TIMES. All of this, just for me to walk out on the deal due to them upping the sales price almost $10,000.00 for a Friends for life Certification and add ons that the salesman wasnt even able to explain.Review fromAdonis W

1 starWe purchased a used luxury vehicle (2016 *** I6 M) from Kalidy Kia with an extended warranty. The Finance Manager stated that the warranty would cover repairs to the engine, transmission, etc. After a month of owning the car, we noticed that it was consuming a large amounts of oil that required at least 2 quarts of oil. Due to our hectic schedule, we was able to take it to Kilady dealership until 3 months later. After the inspection, we were quote a 20K bill. We have not even owned the car for 6 months and a 20k bill for repairs. We advised service department that we purchased the extended warranty from them and these types of repairs was promised to be covered. However, we were informed that the warranty that we purchased from them would not cover the repairs needed. This is one of the deceptive practices that this dealership offers as the extended warranty was one of the reasons why we purchased the vehicle in the first place. Our vehicle has been in the service department for over 3 weeks and now Kalidy advises us to have the manufacturer see if they can fix the issue. This is what we call passing the buck and defrauding your consumer and specific offer a warranty that does not cover what they said. Kalidy dealership is atrocious for this behavior and the act is maleficent. I hope sharing this story will help others make informed decisions and avoid similar issues. This review serves as a warning and encourages prospective buyers to seek alternatives to Kalidy Kia. I will let everyone that I know from friends, colleagues, family members, even completely strangers to never purchase a vehicle from this dealership. If I could give negative stars, I would.Review fromJohn M

1 starI purchased a vehicle from this dealer and told the salesman that I had to have the *** rolled into the loan to make it work and he assured me no problem. The finance ***** rips through the paperwork on their little iPad so you truly never see everything when you are signing and I find out afterward they forgot to add the ***. I contacted my salesman and he assured me over text message that he would fix this error but of course he ghosted me. I then left a review on ****** only to have the ** call me and apologize and offer me half of what the *** would be (he was way wrong on the calculation) and that I would see a check in the mail by the end of the week. That was eight months ago. I left messages etc and nothing. Be very careful when you examine your paperwork with this dealer and make sure you get it all in writing. Its a shame they treat loyal customers like this.
