  I kindly ask to keep all communication between ** (complaint)&company(Landscaping by a&d) to go through you (the BBB) as 3rd party for witness. We hired them to take trees down(1 big elm tree & 3 small trees, pictures attached) & put a fence up in backyard. We signed the contract on 2/24 & paid 200 deposit as due.(Invoive pictures attached)When deposit was paid we were told they would be here Mon which was (2/27).They didnt come out, but I waited to see if they were late or something. I never got a call Mon, so Tue morning I called & they told us sorry for not calling they had to move over weekend due to something & said they had to finish the jobs they didn't last week & would be here ***(3/10). Did not come out until(3/17) at about 11am. They got elm tree down & then he took a day off(called) because his back was hurting & was back next day. Asked for material deposit of 3460(was to be *******, but didnt have change, 3/19)(same day told screenshots of invoice before they changed it). On invoice it shows what was to be done. 1 gate under carport(done) & other to separate the front & back yards as discussed(was put going to road, not separate ************* told husband that we didnt showed him that & told husband something like "oh yeah I remember talking about that so it didn't make since to me" & told husband could put gate that would separate yards for another 350 when husband took the envelope with **** to him(invoice). Moved truck to park in front of house & were sitting there for about 15 min & then came to door & told husband still owed him 200 & then sent invoice of 245 still owed & that the new invoice had 2 more 6ft fence sections supposedly on there but they didn't add 2 more sections they put a gate(not in right spot) that was already on the invoice plan. One of the 3 small tress was not cut down either(pictures). We just don't want to be charged or have to pay the 245 when the job was not done like we discussed. All pictures attached to show.
