    On April 10, 2024, Eastside Waste ************ conducted their routine residential trash services in our neighborhood. Their operator of a large truck that retrieves the trash destroyed our brick mailbox. I immediately called their office and it was confirmed by their driver they had hit our mailbox causing severe damage. They asked me to get a quote and email it to them, I did the next day. They informed me they would have their crew build me a new mailbox and since the have done nothing. I called approximately May 3, 2024 to see the status. I was told it was already paid and they were under the impression it was completed. They said they would get back with me on the confusion. They did not call me back and have not responded to any emails. I last called on May 10, 2024 and was told their boss would call me back. I have heard nothing still. The cost of a new mailbox is $770, and I have requested that the builder of this new home build It to specs. I have heard nothing. I do business with Eastside Waste ************ to collect our trash weekly.

    We pay for trash service monthly to Eastside waste, to have our 2 trash dumpsters picked up every Wednesday. On occasion they miss us and it hasnt been that big of a deal, until now. They missed us 3 entire weeks straight, and when I had called and asked what was going on and if they could pick up our trash, the lady apologized and said she didnt know why they arent coming all the way down our road but she would call the trash guy, and have him try to swing by and grab it that day, if he couldnt make it then he would be there the following morning. I told her we had tons of bags of trash piled up in the house because we have no where to dispose of them since our trash hasnt been picked up in 3 weeks. She said to put some of the bags out in front of the trash dumpsters and they would pick them up. We put a few bags by the dumpsters, and waited for the trash to be picked up. The following afternoon, the trash was still not picked up. I called again and the lady said she didnt know why they hadnt made it out but they would be by. I told her my grandfather has already paid the following month in advance, and I didnt think its fair to us that were paying for services but not receiving the services. She just brushed me off and told me that my trash would be picked up and this wouldnt happen again. The trash was picked up the day before Christmas, but the bags I left by the dumpsters like she told me, were pushed to the side and the animals got into them and drug trash out everywhere that we ended up having to pick up. Today, is Wednesday, our trash pick up day, and once again they havent came to pick up our trash. There are no other available trash services in our area, and its illegal to dump trash or burn it. We have no other options, but to keep dealing with trash piling up in our home because this business could care less.

    I have a credit of 62.75 with this company, and yet they continue to withdrawal the monthly service fee every month, even though I have cancelled the auto draft authorization on their website. They refuse to answer their phones, will not answer my emails, and will not return my credit or stop withdrawing the monthly fee that is not due or authorized any more. This has been going on since June of 2022. I need a resolution. Either a refund of the credit, or stop the auto draft every month. One or the other needs to occur.

    Better Business Bureau:

    Suggestion they post on their website a phone number to the 3rd party that controls the auto payments since the business themselves refuse to return calls, answer the phone or emails.  I had a withdrawal in December, as well as it returned back to my account.  I have yet to see one for January.  I hope this is finally over.  Thank you for your efforts in helping with the resolution to this mess.

    I cancelled service at 18201 Crown Point on 1 September (My last payment was made 5 September) due to the sheer number of multiple billing issues and par for the course, I am still being charged and no doubt will now be getting the trademarked ESW false late fee additions. They don't give a confirmation number to hold them to, but they can verify with the driver that no trash has been collected. Additionally, I'm STILL being charged late fees for the rental account at 161 Celeste from over a year ago??? I stopped service because their driver continually made excuses about the road condition, and I was given "Service credits" 3 MONTHS in a row. Eternal credits do no good if the trash is never collected and the billing continues. I want ties with this company to stop, they show no desire to stop text-harassing and adding $6 a month fees eternally. I've paid. They need to cancel everything and stop bullying customers with eternal texts to pay a bill.
