I took out a loan with pathway credit at two of their locations. One in South ************* and one in Midwest city in 2020. I always pay my loan on time. I fell on hard times in 2022, I lost my job and then I got Covid. I had a hard time paying my loan on time. I also had asked them to please take my automatic withdrawal from my checking account off My account because I was closing that account. I gave them a different account that they could use. I had missed a payment and they went ahead and used the account that I told them not to use and that they had agreed not to use in March. I only had that account open in case anything had gone through and they were not supposed to use that account. It cost me a lot of financial hardship. I called them and asked them why they did it and they said that I wasnt getting back to them so they had to take it out of that account. And I said well thats not how it sounds you agreed not to take it out of my account. This account is no longer active take money out of. The same thing happened in May. Ive been asked to speak with the manager and they put me in touch with somebody named ***** who was the regional manager. He assured me that it would never happen again and they had taken the account completely off of my file because it was not to be used again. In May it cost me severe financial hardship again. I just got over Covid and things have been very bad for me. I noticed that my account had activity on it again. It was pathway credit taking out money that they had promised me they would not do again because the account was closed. I called the manager and said I have you on according agreeing to never use that account again and to take it off of my pathway credit account. You know that my account is closed and it was only left open to pay any thing that might have been left over. You promised me you would never use my account again. And he Refused to give me my money back. I feel like Ive been stolen from.

This company falsify information on how to pay back your loan . They say first time customers have to have electronic draft which NO where does it stay that online or on the promissory note They dont tell you that until after the fact when you bring it up. Also you have a due date , And they try to deduct your account on your payday when at times its way before the due date. Specifically signed papers and verbally you are told when your payment is due . The staff was nice but the company is misleading on that part . Their main Manager I guess is ***** and he has no type of Management skills at all he over talks the customer, ask you what your problem and whats wrong with you things like that when you are trying to inform him on the issue/ complaint that you have so of course of his rudeness make the customer give the same feed back to him. He is so verbally aggressive that you would think he have had a lot similar conversation before . I sent a email with a witness stating to them that do not have permission to draft my account I will be paying online lets see if they fraudulently do that after informing them NOT TO .
