The help that I didn't get tonight from Brian was very disappointing. He obviously only knew how to read from a book and no help past that. When I have had to call before John knew what he was talking about and helped me twice. Brian was clueless or didn't care. Told me to go to a computer repair place. I fixed the problem myself by researching on my cellphone.

Upon looking at the call notes from the customer and the interaction with our Internet support team, it was not due to any issues of our service, but a WiFi card on your laptop. So yes, since we are not a business that services and supports computers, cell phones, ************ we would and will always trouble shoot of course everything on our end to ensure that we are delivering a connection to the internet, but from there that is something that you would need to reach out to the laptop manufacturer(s) and have them help you.It seems from your comment that you have found the issue and fixed it which is great!Review fromLinda W

1 starHorrible service. They gave us defective equipment then when I called in said they’d charge $75 to come out and fix if!!! Going back to a TV ANTENNA or Direct Tv.

We have had oec for a year . It is horrible. The picture pixates/ buffers on the premium channels so we rarely use them. If your streaming channels it's great. I have called and the answer was they are having trouble communicating with satellites. Something about **** towers. If they can't provide a service they should credit the customer. It won't let me add a pic to show the ** picture all broken up. *** is close to being available in my area... hopefully soon as we miss watching channels with a clear picture.....OEC Fiber

Thank you for your comments and yes you are correct unfortunately some recent changes to the **** 5G network has created massive interference with our satellite system located here locally. This unfortunately has also created a problem nationwide that we are working thru. We have been working to fix/remedy the issues directly with the channel providers, ****, the *** & more but unfortunately there has been no help on their end. It's in our lap now to purchase more satellite equipment no where near any **** towers to fix the issues going forward and that takes time from site surveys, satellite testing, purchasing and deployment and much more.The issue for OEC Fiber TV did start in early August and we have been working not just on that side of it but how to take care of our subscribers in the meantime so I apologize that you feel we have not done enough, but we are working on it with the restrictions of how tight our hands are tied. In the meantime we have partnered with and have spun up a service on our site using a MyBundleTV tool. You can find that here. ******************************************* That would allow you to find what it is that you are looking for on other streaming services. Please remember that we do not do contracts and you are more than welcome to drop OEC Fiber TV at anytime, no questions asked or reduce your package that you are currently subscribed to. Feel free to do what you want. We've always been like that on our fiber service, TV service and phone service. No contracts and the ability to change your package(s) with no impact from bundling, etc. So by using the OEC Fiber TV builder you might be able to find the channel or channels that you are looking for or that are causing you issues. Every time the wind blows we loose internet and cable. We have had the service for 1 month and have lost internet and cable more than 4 times. Every time we call they just tell ** how to reset everything. How about sending a technician out to see if we might have faulty equipment? Or better yet how about reimbursing me for the days on end that we don't have t v or internet? Good thing there is no contract with this company because I am about to go elsewhere for cable and internet. They just don't seem very willing to help or send somebody out to check and see if there's something wrong. All they ever wanna do is have us go through and reset everything.all the time. I thought fiber was supposed to be so good that's why we went with it but it's not. OEC reminds me of ******** If I wanted to check out and pack my own stuff, I would get a job here. I do NOT recommend cable and internet throu OEC.OEC Fiber

I will not continue nor will I ever want to do service with OEC Fiber. First of all, they damaged the lines to our sprinkler system. I called twice about it and both time the Manager did not have the decency nor professionalism to call me back. Instead I get a call from someone who I am still not sure who he was nor if he was even an employee of OEC Fiber. Then I get my bill and there is a $100 installation fee. I called and informed them that I was not aware of the fee and that no-one in all the times I did talk to someone from there, inform me of the fee. I was told that it was on the 5-line online application, which I then informed them that I had only signed up for internet service. She then proceeded to tell me oh, well then it's on the internet one. I looked at the application online and nowhere does it state there is a $100 installation fee. They seem to lie and not be truthful about their products or services even though they state on their website that there are "no hidden fees", which is not true. I will be canceling my service and will not be referring this company to others.OEC Fiber

Also please know that at any time you could have called here at OEC Fiber & reached out to me personally and I would have helped you and addressed ANY concerns that you had. Additionally there is a note card that you get in the mail after your install where it lets you know how to reach out to me here at OEC Fiber or thru my email address at ************************************ if you had any questions, complaints, compliments or concerns. We make it VERY easy to reach out to anyone to get help.As far as the damage to your sprinkler system I apologize for that. We try very hard to work with home owners and where private lines may be buried. Unfortunately ******* does not locate sprinkler lines and if we do run across them and damage them we have instructed the teams to fix them at the time IF the damage is known. If it's not known at the time say during the winter months when sprinklers are not being used and it happens later when the sprinklers are used we still have a process to come out and fix them. Unfortunately it sounds like when you called up here they didn't tell you where to fill out the form we have had online since 2018 or help you fill it out which is a tracking tool we use to repair any damages during installation, etc. You can still fill it out and we will come and repair whatever damage we might have caused in the path when the fiber was laid. You can view the form here on our website. ************************************************ the time when you ordered your service our member service team goes over all the charges, installation fee, what that covers and also what your first bill will be based off the proration of when you started your service, etc. Also we have that clearly stated on our website here ******************************************* and also when you go thru the online portal to order the service had you chosen to order OEC Fiber that way. We have over ****** customers and this is the first time I have ever heard of or had anyone say they were not aware of the install fee. We are very transparent and display those fees upfront and also at the time when your account is set up. That's been my goal since day one when we started OEC Fiber in Sept of 2017 and we take great pride in that. I'm sorry to hear that you are cancelling your service and wish you the best with your new provider.
